  Description of particular embodiments

  Referring to Figures 1 and 2, a display for winter sports articles, such as skis, surfs, poles, is particularly intended for owners of mountain stores, for the sale and / or rental of equipment. The display unit according to the invention is slidably mounted between a first recoil position, against the wall (FIG. 1), and a second maximum advance position, away from the wall and from the other adjacent displays (FIG. 2), to allow retrieval of items.

  The carriage 17 for supporting the skis 11 is slidably mounted on the vertical posts 13 and on the longitudinal crosspieces 16 of the base 12 by interposition of four ball-bearing slides 18, preferably two upper slides 18a and two lower slides 18b fixed respectively on the longitudinal cross members 16 and the carriage 17 (Figures 4 and 6a, 6b).
