Abstract

The invention concerns a display rack comprising a first fixed supporting element (12), a second supporting element (14) capable of sliding on the first supporting element (12) between a reversing position and an extracting position, and having a top surface (38) forming a shelf capable of being removed. A slide rail (16) runs along the central part between the two supporting elements (12, 14) providing a space (32) with constant thickness along the longitudinal direction. A plurality of suspending members (42) are distributed on the top part (38) for receiving objects, and a locking device is designed to lock or unlock the suspending members (42). The invention is useful as a display rack for gloves, caps, hats and the like.

Technical field of the invention

The invention relates to a sliding drawer display comprising: - a first support element,

- a second support element which can be displaced in sliding relation to the first support element between a recoil position and an extraction position, and having a face for receiving objects intended for sale in stores, - and a slide s 'extending in the central part between the two support elements, providing a constant gap of small thickness along the longitudinal direction.

State of the art

Document US 2,926,979 describes a storage cabinet with a drawer which can be removed from a slide, the bottom of the drawer having a plurality of slots for the installation of dividers. Each separator comprises for this purpose a retaining claw provided at the lower edge, and pluggable into a corresponding slot, as well as a blocking stud which can be pushed inside a fixed bar towards a locking position. The manual locking of each separator is carried out individually, and the bar is arranged along the upper edge of a side panel of the drawer. Such a device is not suitable for constituting a practical display for the sale of objects in a store. Subject of the invention

The object of the invention to provide a sliding drawer display accessible from the front, and allowing optimal storage and storage of objects of various shapes and sizes.

The device according to the invention is characterized in that:

a plurality of suspension or attachment members are distributed on one of the upper or lower faces of the second support element for the reception of said objects,

- And a blocking device is capable of occupying a locked position or an unlocked position respectively to block or unblock the suspension or attachment members by constituting a centralized adjustment device.

According to a characteristic of the invention, the locking device comprises a longitudinal bar extending over the entire distribution surface of the suspension members, and having a manual actuation movement between the two positions.

According to a preferred embodiment, the suspension members are formed by arches mounted to interlock in holes in the upper face. Each hoop has a notch into which the bar engages in the locked position.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the slide is formed by a symmetrical inverted H-shaped section housed in two longitudinal T-shaped notches, arranged facing one another along the internal faces of the support elements. According to an alternative embodiment, the slide comprises a pair of parallel plates with longitudinal relative movement cooperating with rolling means.

Preferably, a grip handle is arranged at the front of the second support element, and at the same time serves as a signaling label holder, and as a device for padlocking the bar in the locked position. For this purpose, the grip handle is mounted on the first hoop between a raised position and a lowered position.

An elastic means is associated with the second support element to bring it back to the recoil position. A retaining device is arranged at a hard point to keep the drawer open in the extraction position.

According to an alternative embodiment, the first support element comprises additional sliding means allowing a complementary stroke between an intermediate extraction position, and a complete extraction position. It is thus possible to obtain an optimum displacement stroke of the second support element, so as to make all of the objects accessible.

Description of a preferred embodiment

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 4, a display unit 10 with a sliding drawer comprises at the lower part a first fixed support element 12, on which a second support element 14 is slidably mounted, which is movable in limited translation between a position of recoil and an extraction position. The displacement in translation of the second support element 14 is ensured by means of a slide 16 extending in the central part, and constituted, for example, by a symmetrical aluminum profile extending in the longitudinal direction of displacement. The inverted H-shaped profile of the slide 16 has two parallel wings 18, 20 joined together by a common vertical branch 22, and is slidably housed in two longitudinal T-shaped notches 24, 26, arranged opposite the one from the other along the internal faces 28, 30 of the support elements 12, 14. The branch 22 of the slide 16 defines a constant gap 32 of small thickness between the two support elements 12, 14, so as to avoid any friction effect during the sliding stroke of the drawer.

Oblong grooves 34, 36 extend over part of the wings 18, 20 being symmetrical with respect to the center of the branch 22. Stops (not shown) are secured to the two support elements 12, 14, and come into engagement with the ends of the grooves 34, 36 to limit the travel of the second support element 14.

The upper face 38 of the second support element 14 constitutes an extractable shelf provided with a plurality of circular orifices 40 staggered at regular intervals along the two opposite edges. These holes 40 are used to fit a series of suspension members 42 intended to support various objects intended to be stored on the display 10. The suspension members 42 comprise, for example, curved arches of inverted U, each having a radial notch 44 on one of the sides, for example on the right side in FIG. 2. The arches can be produced either by bending steel or plastic wires, or by molding plastic material. In FIG. 3, the upper face 38 of the second support element 14 is equipped with two holes 46, 48 aligned in the longitudinal direction, and with a third hole 50 for receiving one of the limiting stops.

A locking device 52 for the suspension members 42 comprises a flat longitudinal bar 54 capable of occupying a locked position or an unlocked position. The bar 54 is provided with two parallel guide slots 56, 58 crossed by clearance by screws 60, 62 housed in the holes 46, 48. Each guide slot 56, 58 extends obliquely relative to the longitudinal direction, so as to cause in the locked position the insertion of the bar 54 in the different notches 44 of the arches, and the withdrawal of said bar 54 in the unlocked position. The passage from one position to the other is carried out by pushing or pulling the bar 54 in the longitudinal direction, the reaction of the edges of the slots 56, 58 on the screws 60,

62 respectively causing the locking or unlocking of all the arches.

The bar 54 extends over the entire length of extension of the orifices 40 and inside the arches. The adjustment of the locking device 52 of the suspension members 42 is then centralized.

A grip handle 64 is arranged at the front of the second support element 14, and is formed by a plate 63 bent downwards serving at the same time as a label holder for signaling the characteristics of the objects stored on the display 10. The rear part of the plate 63 has two holes 68, 70 aligned transversely with the holes 40 of the first row of the second support element 14 to allow the mounting of the handle 64 on the first hoop of the suspension member 42. The handle gripping 64 is advantageously movable along the two parallel vertical wings of the first hoop between a raised position and a lowered position. The first fixed support element 12 is provided at the rear with protrusions

65 protrusions serving as stops in the recoil position.

In the raised position of the handle 64, the bar 54 can be moved freely forwards to unlock the suspension members 42.

In the lowered position of the handle 64 (Figure 1), the front end of the bar 54 is in abutment against the plate 63, making it impossible to move the bar 54 forward to unlock the arches. The latter all remain padlocked, thus making it possible to reverse the display stand 10 by half a turn in order to place the arches downwards.

In certain application cases, the padlocking can be inhibited after inversion of the bar 54 in the longitudinal direction. There then remains permanently a clearance with respect to the handle 64 making it possible to actuate the bar 54 between the locked position and the unlocked position.

The second support element 14 is associated with an elastic return means 66 urging the drawer towards the recoil position. The elastic means 66 may consist of a tension spring attached to the rear of the second support element 14.

According to the variant of FIG. 5, the slide 16 instead of being produced by a one-piece H-shaped section, comprises a pair of parallel plates with longitudinal relative movement with the interposition of rolling means 68, in particular balls or rollers.

Figures 6 and 7 show suspension members 42 of different shapes. The arch 42a according to Figure 6 has a horizontal recess 70 at the bottom of the left side. The arch according to FIG. 7 comprises a rounded head 72. Other forms of hangers 42 are of course possible, in particular hangers or supports in I, L or T.

Various objects can be placed on the suspension members 42, in particular gloves, hats, helmets, etc.

FIG. 8 shows the device 74 for retaining the drawer in the extraction position. It comprises an elastic blade 76 provided at the rear of the second support element 14, and cooperating with a recess 78 formed at the front of the first fixed support element 12. When the second support element 14 arrives in the extraction position, the elastic blade 76 enters the recess

78 to constitute a hard point which keeps the display unit open despite the return force of the spring 66. To unlock the hard point, it suffices to push the second support element 14 backwards causing the elastic blade 76 to rise. spring 66 then automatically returns the second support member 14 to the recoil position.

Figures 9-13 illustrate the different successive phases of installation of the locking device 52 of the suspension members 42:

In FIG. 9, the upper face 38 of the shelf is bare and devoid of the suspension members 42. The bar 54 of the locking device 52 is in the unlocked position outside the notches 44. The grip handle 64 n is not installed.

In FIG. 10, all the suspension members 42 are fitted into the orifices 40, except the first at the front of the second support element 14.

In FIG. 11, the first hoop is installed with the grip handle 64 placed in the raised position. In FIG. 12, a push on the bar 54 moves it to the right until the complete insertion into the notches 44 of the arches. The latter are then blocked in the orifices 40, and any upward withdrawal is impossible.

In FIG. 13, the actuation of the grip handle 64 towards the lowered position causes padlocking of the locking device 52 of the suspension members 42, which are positively locked in the orifices 40.

In the display 100 according to Figures 14 to 16, the first support member 112 is not fixed, because it is slidably mounted on a bracket 102, so as to allow complete extraction of the display 100 through the complementary stroke d . The second support element 14 and the slide 16 are identical to those described above.

The intermediate position of Figure 15 corresponds to the extraction position of Figure 1, because the rear end of the first support member 1 12 remains in abutment against a stop of the stirrup 102. During the passage from the position of retreat (Figure 14) to the intermediate extraction position (Figure 15), the first support member 112 remains fixed, and the second support member

14 moves ^on a slide 16.

Continued actuation of the grip handle 64 then causes the first support member 112 to move in translation during the complementary stroke d to the maximum extraction position (FIG.

16).

According to the other alternative embodiment of the display 200 illustrated in FIGS. 17 to

26, the second support element 14 is identical to that described above. On the other hand, the first support element 212 comprises a metal stirrup 202 in steel wire shaped in a U shape with two branches 204, 206 longitudinal and parallel. A slide 208 is mechanically fixed to the central slide 16, so as to move in translation along the branches 204, 206 of the stirrup 202 during the complementary stroke d.

The operation of the display 200 is similar to that described for the display 100:

In the retracted position (FIGS. 17, 19 and 20), the second support element 14 is in abutment at the rear part against a stop of the stirrup 202 of the first support element 212.

Between the backward position and the intermediate extraction position (FIGS. 21, 22 and 23), the slide 208 and the slide 16 remain stationary on the bracket 202, and the second support element 14 moves on the slide 16 until in the middle position.

During the complete extraction (FIGS. 24, 25, 26), the maximum output of the second support element 14 is authorized by virtue of the displacement of the slide 208 during the distance d.

With reference to FIGS. 27 to 29, the display unit 300 is provided for a wardrobe with an extractable drawer. In this case, the hooking members 342 of the second support element 314 are arranged at the lower part, and not at the upper part as for the displays 10, 100, 200. The slide 16 is secured to the second support element 314, and is equipped with the slide 308, which is movable in translation on the stirrup 302 and in connection with the first support element 312. The positions of recoil, intermediate extraction, and total extraction, shown respectively on the Figures 27-29 are comparable to Figures 19, 22 and 25 above.

1. Display unit with sliding drawer comprising: - a first support element (12, 112, 212, 312),

- a second support element (14, 314) movable by sliding with respect to the first support element (12, 112, 212, 312) between a retraction position and an extraction position, and having a face (38) of reception of objects intended for sale in stores, - and a slide (16) extending in the central part between the two support elements, providing a constant gap (32) of small thickness along the longitudinal direction, characterized in that:

- A plurality of suspension members (42, 42a, 42b) or attachment (342) are distributed on one of the upper (38) or lower faces of the second support element (14, 314) for the reception of said objects,

- And a blocking device (52) is capable of occupying a locked position or an unlocked position respectively to block or unblock the suspension (42, 42a, 42b) or latching (342) members by constituting an adjustment device centralized.

2. Display according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking device (52) comprises a longitudinal bar (54) extending over the entire distribution surface of the suspension members (42, 42a, 42b), and having a manual actuation movement between the two positions.

3. Display according to claim 1, characterized in that the suspension members (42, 42a, 42b) or suspension (342) are formed by arches mounted to interlock in holes (40) of the second support element (14 , 314).

4. Display according to claim 2, characterized in that each hoop of the suspension members (42, 42a, 42b) is provided with a notch (44) in which engages the bar (54) in the locked position.

5. Display according to claim 1, characterized in that the slide (16) is formed by a symmetrical inverted H-shaped profile housed in two notches (24, 26) longitudinal T formed opposite one another along internal faces (28, 30) of the support elements (12, 14).

6. Display according to claim 1, characterized in that the slide (16) comprises a pair of parallel plates with longitudinal relative movement cooperating with rolling means (68).

7. Display according to claim 2, characterized in that a grip handle (64) is arranged at the front of the second support element

(14), and at the same time serves as a signaling label holder, and as a device for padlocking the bar (54) in the locked position.

8. Display according to claim 7, characterized in that the grip handle (64) is mounted on the first hoop between a raised position and a lowered position.

9. Display according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an elastic means (66) is associated with the second support element (14) to bring it back to the recoil position.

10. Display according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a retaining device (74) arranged in a hard point to keep the drawer open in the extraction position of the second support element (14, 314).

11. Display according to claim 1, characterized in that the first support element (12, 112, 212, 312) comprise additional sliding means allowing a complementary stroke d between an intermediate extraction position, and a position of complete extraction.

12. Display according to claim 11, characterized in that the additional sliding means of the display (100) are arranged between a bracket (102) and the underside of the first support element (112).

13. Display according to claim 11, characterized in that the additional sliding means of the display (200, 300) are formed by a slide (208, 308) fixed to the slide (16) of the second element of support (14, 314), and capable of moving along the branches of a stirrup (202, 302) during said intermediate stroke d.

14. Display according to claim 13, characterized in that the fastening members (342) extend on the underside of the second support element (314), and under the stirrup (302).
