Mécanisme à serrure pour appareil électriqueMechanism with lock for electrical apparatus
The present invention relates to a lock mechanism associated with at least one pair of contacts, respectively fixed and movable, for electric apparatus of the type circuit breaker or differential protection switch line and people, or more generally for any type of device able to establish and interrupt an electrical circuit. In this type of apparatus, the lock serves in particular to retransmit the printed movement to a lever-type control member at each movable contact, with a view to moving it respectively in support and at a distance from a corresponding fixed contact for obtaining two stable states of closure by pressure contact and opening of the line. Traditionally, this mechanism comprises a contact holder (s) free in rotation relative to the housing of the device, and a trigger whose actuation drives the contact carrier (s) in the open position of the contacts , in the main function of the lock consisting of amplifying the energy of measurement systems (bimetallic, coil) to separate the contacts in case of problems on the line. In commonly known configurations, the movable contact or contacts are pivotally connected to the contact carrier (s), a return spring being interposed between these two parts. This spring serves primarily to bring each movable contact into pressure contact with the fixed contact, so as to ensure sufficient pressure to avoid any electrical problem closing the circuit, making the circuit breaker much less reliable, then gradually degrading the contacts fixed and mobile and accelerating the cycle of degradation of the quality of contact and reliability of the device. Secondly, the return spring placed between each movable contact and the contact carrier (s) is also used to ensure the wear race, intended to make up the game that would come from the possible wear of the contacts, thus helping to avoid problems supra. The known solutions spring (s) integrated in the movable part of the lock make these systems more complex and therefore more expensive to manufacture and mount. This results in particular from the number of parts to be assembled according to mobile links, and from the installation of the springs whose ends must be wedged to ensure their return function. Furthermore, depending on the types of devices (circuit breakers, differential switches, etc.) and the installed gauge, the required contact force is not the same. In spring solutions integrated in the movable part of the lock, it is therefore necessary to provide an adaptation of said part (in particular the choice of the spring) according to the apparatus and / or the application envisaged. This adaptation implies the existence of a large number of locks to satisfy the different types of devices or even, in the same range, to match various applications and calibres.
In economic terms, from the point of view of industrialization which underlies high automation, such a hypothesis is obviously unfavorable. To overcome these disadvantages, according to the invention, it is provided that each movable contact is rigidly attached to the contact carrier (s), each fixed contact being provided with elastic means to vary the contact force. In other words, the management of the variation of the pressure of the contact is moved, according to the invention, from the moving part of the mechanism to a fixed element. This solution, totally original compared to what is known today, allows a considerable simplification as much in terms of technical solution as for the establishment of an industrialization process. Thus, in an assumption of apparatus with a single moving contact, the mobile part of the lock consists of only three components, two of which are in addition fixed to one another. The third, the trigger, is then simply arranged free to rotate on the block consisting of the other two.
From an individual as well as mass production perspective, the improvement resulting from the invention can therefore be seen as economically very advantageous. More specifically, each fixed contact can then consist of a conductive blade made of an elastic flexible material, the shape of which is designed so that the elastic return force resulting from the bias exerted by the moving contact is exerted substantially in the direction and in the opposite direction of the force exerted by it. The considerable improvement afforded by the solution of the invention is revealed again in this feature, since the fixed contact, which was already made from a metal blade in the configurations of the prior art, actually undergoes a simple change of shape allowing it to restore more easily the energy involved during the pressure contact caused by the closure. According to an additional possibility, it is possible for separate return means of each fixed contact to be furthermore arranged in such a way that they are biased when the movable contact is driven in abutment against the fixed contact, and restore the stored energy according to forces whose resultant is again substantially parallel and opposite direction to the contact force of the movable contact.
This possibility can in particular be used when the contact force required by the device is greater, for example for a high-caliber differential switch. In general, it should be noted that the contact pressure required in the context of a circuit breaker is much lower than that required in a differential switch, in a proportion that can vary from single to double. This results in particular from the difference in function of these devices having the consequence that, for a circuit breaker, the contact opens during a short circuit while it remains closed, in the same case, in a differential switch.
So that the fixed contact can be deformable to ensure the wear stroke and the contact pressure, and that it can resume its original position at the opening of the contacts, all with a suitable durability, it is better to give it a special shape. Thus, in a possible configuration, this fixed contact takes the form of a blade having two rectilinear portions perpendicular to the contact force, one of these portions being intended for fixing the blade relative to the housing and the other to receive the contact zone, these two portions being separated by an oblique intermediate segment shifting on the one hand the contact portion in the direction of each moving contact, and on the other hand achieving an axial offset between these portions. Simultaneous shifting in two directions, combined with the existence of the intermediate portion that achieves this double shift, facilitates elastic deformation. The stiffness of the spring blade is also easily modifiable by simply varying the thickness of said blade.
According to one possibility, the end of the portion containing the zone of contact opposite to that which is connected to the intermediate portion is fixed, by a looped portion, to a fixed component relative to the housing of the apparatus which is also fixed the first portion of the blade. Preferably, the abovementioned return means consist of a compression spring situated at the level of the contact portion, opposite each movable contact, and a compression axis passing substantially in the center of the contact and direction zone. of course perpendicular to the contact surface. Such a spring is easy to install and exists in dimensions compatible with the system, according to a range of stiffness making fine adjustment possible depending on the device and the application in which the solution is installed. The use of a spring is justified only when significant stiffness is required. In the alternative, the new configuration of the mobile part of the lock offers additional advantages, for example by making it possible to simplify other functions of the electrical appliance. Thus, it is possible to provide a solution in which the components, in particular the trigger, are designed such that the or one of the movable contacts attached to the contact carrier is rigidly connected to one of the ends of a bimetal. This solution is very advantageous because it considerably reduces the complexity of the thermal disjunction assembly (deletion of a braid connection, elimination of the control system and consequently reduction of complexity and costs). Preferably, the movable contact and the bimetallic strip can then be attached to each other at the end of the moving contact opposite to that which is intended to close the contact. Given that the device which ensures the pressure of the movable contact bearing against the fixed contact is now moved to a fixed part of the apparatus, the three components forming the movable part can also be greatly simplified. Only mobile connection, the trigger can be mounted on the block formed of the contact carrier and at least one movable contact in a pivot connection of the same axis as the rotation of the latter, by simple cooperation of an orifice and a cylindrical stud. The operation of the lock mechanism is moreover conventional, that is to say that the lever-type operating lever drives a link which tends to push the contact carrier (s) so as to bring the contact (s) movable in pressure contact against the fixed contact on closing, and bring it back, removing the movable contact or contacts of the fixed contact, opening. A ratchet protruding from the body of the release allows, in cooperation with a ramp with a side edge of the contact carrier (s) and with the connecting rod with the control member, to produce a disengageable toggle joint that reflects the movement of the control member between the stable positions of closure and opening of the contacts respectively by blocking one of the ends of the link between the pawl and the ramp, and by releasing said end by moving the pawl when the trigger rotates relative to the contact carrier (s) under the action of a thermal or magnetic disjunction assembly respectively resulting from an overload or a short circuit in the line. Feedback means then move the contact carrier (s) so as to move the movable contacts (s) and fixed (s). The simplification of the lock resulting from the invention makes it possible to use the same lock for a fairly wide range of products and for various contact forces. Moreover, it is entirely possible to use this solution in semi-modular modular device housings, or with two locks in a single-mode housing, etc.
The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the mechanism of the invention with a control lever; - Figure 2 is a side view; and - Figure 3 shows the other side of the mechanism of the invention. With reference to the figures, the control device of the electrical apparatus, for example a circuit breaker or a differential switch, consists of a lever (1) free to rotate with respect to the housing of said apparatus, whose rotary motion is retransmitted via a connecting rod (3) to a mobile assembly based on a contact carrier (2). The contact carrier (2) is itself free to rotate relative to the housing of the device (not shown), along an axis about which also pivots a trigger (4) actuated in case of abnormal operation of the line on 15 which is installed the electrical device. A movable contact (5) is rigidly attached to the contact carrier (2). According to one possibility, a bimetallic strip (6) is in turn fixed rigidly to said moving contact (5). In conventional manner, known per se, the assembly functions as a toggle mechanism in the following manner: when the control member (1) is pivoted in the closed position of the contacts, the trigger (4) being positioned by relative to the contact carrier (2) in the manner shown in the figures, the lever (1) pushes said contact carrier (2) via the link (3) so that it pivots and feeds the moving contact (5) resting against the fixed contact (11). The mechanical action is effected by the end of the link (3) which cooperates with the contact carrier (2) by pressing on a ramp (7) of the contact carrier (2), support made possible by a pawl ( 8) in one piece with the trigger (4) (see Figure 2) which positions and blocks said end opposite and supported on said ramp (7). The relative positioning of the pawl (8), the end of the link (3) and the ramp (7) of the contact carrier (2) is as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in the absence of operating problem on the line. When an overload occurs, the bimetallic strip (6) deforms and actuates the end (10) of a tab (9) integral with the release (4), producing a rotation of the latter relative to the contact carrier (2). ) around a housing stud housed in the orifice (20), displacing the pawl (8), releasing the link (3) and causing the contacts (5, 11) to open due to the existence of means of return (not shown) connected to the housing of the apparatus and the loss-contact (2), and which bring the moving equipment to a position such that the movable contact (5) is kept at a distance from the fixed contact (11) . The same is true in the event of a short circuit, the disjunction then being caused by a magnetic subassembly (M), the striker of which moves the trigger (4). This type of operation, as well as the cooperation between the different parts, are well known and will therefore not be explained in more detail in this description. The heart of the invention lies in fact that, unlike the prior art configurations, the movable contact (5) is not pivotally mounted relative to the contact carrier (2). On the contrary, it is fixed rigidly to him. It is therefore necessary that the management of the bearing pressure of the movable contact (5) on the fixed contact (11) on the one hand, and the wear race on the other hand, is taken care of by the contact fixed (11). This is constituted in a resilient flexible blade 15 whose shape is intended to allow repetitively to ensure the contact pressure and, where appropriate, the wear stroke. The stationary contact (11) situated opposite the end of the movable contact (5) is a portion of plane-shaped blade whose surface is oriented substantially perpendicular to the tangent to the displacement of the end of the movable contact. (5) when it reaches its supporting position. So that the fixed contact (11) can perform the above functions, the configuration that has been given, according to the invention, the flexible blade, is as follows: a first portion (12) allows the attachment of said blade to an end flange (13) of the magnetic subassembly (M). This portion (12) is connected to the portion (11) forming a fixed contact by an oblique intermediate portion (14), so as to produce a double offset, axial and in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the blade, favoring the displacement of the fixed contact (11) in the desired direction, elastic displacement due to the nature of the chosen material. In the configuration shown, the blade is further connected to the flange (13) by a loop portion (15) which improves the holding of the blade in time. Optionally, a compression spring (16) is interposed between the flange (13) and the fixed contact portion (11). Thus, the elastic properties necessary to ensure a good pressure contact between the fixed contact (11) and the movable contact (5), and also to manage the wear stroke, are ensured not only by the fixed flexible blade. to the magnetic subassembly (M), and having a fixed contact portion (11), but are still and if necessary enhanced by the existence of the spring (16).
8 Of course, the invention is not limited to this configuration, and other forms of flexible blades, or even return means, can be used to perform the same functions. 8
