Description

SUPPORT TEXTILE IMPRIME GRATTABLE
L'invention concerne un support textile imprimé, utilisable notamment dans les domaines de la communication, de la promotion d'une part, de la mode et du sportwear d'autre part. Plus précisément, elle a pour objet un support textile imprimé, sur lequel est appliquée une encre qui, après grattage, laisse apparaître l'impression d'origine. Elle se rapporte également à une encre grattable destinée à être appliquée sur un support textile imprimé.
Un marché très important pour le domaine de la communication, de la promotion d'une part, de la mode et du sportwear de l'autre est celui des textiles imprimés, et en particulier celui des tee-shirts. Ce bien de consommation usuel constitue en effet un support médiatique peu onéreux, facile à produire à l'occasion d'évènements ponctuels de type salon, festival, campagne publicitaire et autres.
Le Demandeur a eu l'idée de rendre grattables ces supports textiles imprimés, de manière à en faire des produits complètement nouveaux pour un marché évolutif.
Dans un mode de réalisation avantageux, le support textile imprimé est un tee-shirt, un 20 sweat-shirt, un polo, une chemise, un pull, un sousvêtement, et plus largement, tout support textile habillement susceptible d'être imprimé.
Le principe de l'encre grattable est connu sur les supports papiers. On connaît dans le domaine des jeux notamment, des supports papier imprimés dont une partie est recouverte d'une encre destinée à être grattée par l'utilisateur pour laisser apparaître l'inscription cachée. Plusieurs procédés et encres ont été proposés à cette fin. Le document FR-A-2 595 987 décrit par exemple un procédé par héliogravure consistant à appliquer sur l'inscription à cacher du support papier, un vernis protecteur, puis seulement ensuite à appliquer sur le vernis, une première couche d'encre cassante et opaque puis une seconde couche d'une encre ordinaire colorée. La couche de vernis intermédiaire a pour fonction de boucher le papier et de faciliter le grattage. Le document US 2002/0028321 décrit un procédé offset dans lequel le papier imprimé est préalablement bouché au moyen d'une primaire aqueuse d'UV. Cette primaire est ensuite recouverte d'une enduction UV, sur laquelle est appliquée par offset, la couche d'encre grattable. Le document US 6 497 759 B1 décrit une encre grattable destinée à être appliquée directement sur l'impression d'un support papier, sans couche intermédiaire.
A la connaissance du Demandeur, l'encre grattable a toujours été appliquée sur des 5 supports papiers et jamais sur des supports textiles.
En d'autres termes, l'invention a pour objet un support imprimé recouvert sur toute ou partie de la zone imprimée, d'une encre grattable, ledit support se caractérisant en ce qu'il s'agit d'un textile tissé ou tricoté.
L'impression sur textile et l'impression sur papier peuvent être effectuées par des techniques similaires mais avec des encres radicalement différentes, ceci étant dû à la nature du support.
Dans un premier mode de réalisation, le support de l'invention est imprimé par une encre à l'eau ou à solvant.
Dans un second mode de réalisation, le support de l'invention est imprimé par une encre plastisol. En pratique cette encre plastisol est appliquée par sérigraphie.
La plupart des encres appliquées sur le textile, en particulier pour le marché des tee-shirts sont en effet des encres plastisol, c'est à dire des encres contenant du PVC dispersé dans un ou plusieurs plastifiants, auxquels sont ajoutés des pigments. La présence du PVC et des plastifiants permet de fixer l'encre sur la matière textile. En outre, ces encres présentent l'avantage d'être résistantes dans le temps, tant en terme de couleur qu'en terme d'aspect. En particulier, l'encre plastisol imprimée sur un textile n'est pas détériorée par le passage en machine à laver. En outre, l'opacité de cette encre permet d'imprimer sur des supports foncés. Enfin, les plastisols sont des encres faciles à appliquer par sérigraphie. C'est la raison pour laquelle pour près de 80% du marché des textiles de consommation courante, notamment les tee-shirts, on a recours aux encres plastisol.
Contrairement aux supports papiers imprimés utilisés notamment dans le domaine des jeux où le rendu de l'impression après grattage n'est pas un critère essentiel, les plastisols imprimés sur les tee-shirts doivent rester intacts pour des raisons évidentes d'esthétique, c'est-à-dire sans altérations après grattage par l'ongle de l'encre grattable. Or, les encres plastisol sont fragiles et rugueuses.
Pour garder l'encre plastisol intacte après grattage, l'encre grattable est appliquée directement sur tout ou partie de la zone imprimée et contient: - entre 40 et 70% en poids de liant hydrosoluble, -entre 5 et 10% en poids de pigments, - entre 20 et 30% en poids de charge minérale.
Avantageusement, le liant hydrosoluble est choisi dans le groupe comprenant l'alcool polyvinylique et le polyquaternium. De même, la charge minérale est, de préférence, du carbonate de calcium.
Pour améliorer sa résistance, l'encre contient en outre entre 5 et 25% en poids d'une dispersion aqueuse acrylique-polyuréthane.
L'invention concerne également l'encre grattable précédemment décrite destinée à être appliquée sur un textile tissé ou tricoté.
Elle a également pour objet un procédé de fabrication d'un textile imprimé grattable selon lequel: - on imprime tout ou partie d'un textile au moyen d'une encre aqueuse ou à solvant, ou avantageusement une encre plastisol, - on applique directement sur ladite encre, une encre grattable.
En pratique, les deux impressions sont effectuées par sérigraphie.
L'invention et les avantages qui en découlent ressortiront mieux des exemples de 30 réalisation suivants.
La figure 1 est une photographie de support imprimé avec une encre plastisol et recouvert d'une encre grattable pour papier.
La figure 2 est une photographie du support de la figure 1 recouvert d'une encre grattable de l'invention.
Exemple 1
On prépare une encre ayant la composition suivante (en poids): dispersion aqueuse d'alcool polyvinylique: 50% - dispersion aqueuse acrylique polyuréthane: 10% - dispersion aqueuse des pigments: 8% - agent tensioactif: 3% 10 - carbonate de calcium: 29% On applique cette encre sur un tee-shirt préalablement imprimé par une encre plastisol. L'application de l'encre grattable est effectuée par sérigraphie. Après grattage, l'encre plastisol reste intacte.
Exemple 2
Dans cet exemple, on compare la performance de l'encre grattable de l'invention et celle d'une encre grattable utilisée dans le domaine du papier.

Le plastisol de la figure 1 est lui-même recouvert d'une encre grattable papier.
Comme le montre la figure 1, l'encre est solidaire du support imprimé et ne s'en détache pas, même avec une forte action de grattage. En revanche, l'encre de l'invention (figure 2) se détache au grattage, sans endommager le support imprimé au dessous.

Claims (10)

REVENDICATIONS
1/ Support imprimé recouvert sur toute ou partie de la zone imprimée d'une encre grattable, caractérisé en ce que ledit support est un textile tissé ou tricoté.
2/ Support selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le support est imprimé par une encre plastisol.
3/ Support selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le support est imprimé par sérigraphie.
4/ Support selon l'une des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que l'encre 15 grattable est appliquée directement sur tout ou partie de la zone imprimée.
5/ Support selon l'une des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que l'encre grattable contient: - entre 40 et 70% en poids de liant hydrosoluble, - entre 5 et 10% en poids de pigments, - entre 20 et 30% en poids de charge minérale.
6/ Support selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la charge minérale est du carbonate de calcium.
7/ Support selon l'une des revendications 5 ou 6, caractérisé en ce que l'encre contient en outre, entre 5 et 25% en poids d'une dispersion aqueuse acrylique-polyuréthane.
8/ Encre grattable destinée à être appliquée sur un textile tissé ou tricoté et comprenant: 30 - entre 40 et 70% en poids de liant hydrosoluble, - entre 5 et 10% en poids de pigments, - entre 20 et 30% en poids de charge minérale.
9/ Procédé de fabrication du support selon l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que: - on imprime tout ou partie d'un textile au moyen d'une encre plastisol, - on applique directement sur le plastisol, une encre grattable.
10/ Procédé selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que les deux impressions sont effectuées par sérigraphie.
