  The present invention relates to a seat, in particular a toilet seat, intended to be placed on the seat of a toilet bowl.

  More particularly, it relates to a toilet seat of the type consisting of a support with an upper face, intended to be in contact with the user, and with a lower face, intended to come opposite the seat of the bowl, and having a opening of elliptical general shape, completely surrounded by the support and intended to come opposite the opening of the toilet seat.

  It is particularly intended for all users who are looking for a seating comfort for their toilet, but also for those who have physical problems requiring prolonged sitting or, to the persons concerned part of the physiological disorders such as constipation obstinate, hemorrhoids.

  Various attempts to improve the ergonomics of toilet seats have already been made. At the beginning of some attempts, it was explained that the improvement of the defecation of the people went through the improvement of the seat and the blood circulation in the legs.

  US Patent 3'520'005 discloses an annular one-piece toilet seat structure provided with a raised front portion.

  US Patent 4,175,294 discloses a toilet assembly with a seat provided with a bulbous, raised and rounded front portion 2884404 and a footrest associated with an inclination angle of 30 to 60 which raises the heels of the user.

  All these attempts at improvement have not, to date, been completely satisfactory, particularly for the persons with the disorders mentioned above.

  More generally, there is a real need to improve sitting comfort.

  The object of the invention is then to propose an improvement of the ergonomics of the seats, in particular of WC seats in order to improve the defecation of the users sitting on them.

  Thus, the subject of the invention is a seat, of the type constituted by a support provided with an upper face delimiting internally an upper opening of elliptical shape and completely surrounded by an upper edge, intended to be in contact with the user, and provided with a lower face internally defining a lower opening of similarly elliptical shape, and completely surrounded by a lower rim, wherein the support has a wall connecting the upper opening to the lower opening and internally delimiting a passage and, in which the height between the upper rim and the lower rim increases from the rear (AR) towards the front (AV) of the support in order to elevate the thighs of a user sitting on the seat relative to his pelvis, characterized in that the the width of the upper rim also increases from the rear (AR) to the front (AV) of the support so that the contact area with c the underside of the thighs of the user sitting on the seat is increased.

  In the context of the invention, it is specified that the boundary between the front (AV) and the rear (AR) is determined by the small axis of the ellipse formed by the lower opening. Thus, in the illustrated embodiment, the boundary is represented by the axis (X-X ').

  According to another advantageous characteristic, the wall connecting the upper opening to the lower one, at the rear (AR) of the support, has a surface at least partially convex curved, inclined inwards from the upper face to the lower face, able to clear the area of the sacral bone of the user sitting on the support.
