La présente invention est relative à un siège de w.c.
Le but de l'invention est de rendre possible l'usage du w.c. normal aux enfants aussi bien des l'instant où ils peuvent se tenir assis que pendant toute leur croissance et cela jusqu'au moment où l'emploi du dispositif faisant l'objet de la présente invention deviendra superflu.
A cet effet, le siège du w.c. selon l'invention présente une lunette proportionnée aux dimensions des membres d'un enfant en bas âge, donc sensiblement plus petite que la lunette normale.
L'objet de l'invention peut être réalisé de différentes manières.

Selon une forme particulière de réalisation, le siège est pourvu de moyens, par exemple de charnières, permettant de le monter en lieu et place du couvercle qui accompagne généralement un siège normal et qui permet d'en recouvrir la lunette.
Enfin, selon une deuxième forme particulière de réalisa- tion, le siège est constitué par une plaque indépendante de pré- férence pourvue de moyens permettant de la fixer à un siège nor- mal de w. c.
Dans le dernier cas, selon une forme préférée de réali- sation, les moyens de fixation sont solidaires de la surface in- férieure du siège amovible et sont constitués, d'une part, par un crochet entourant le bord du siège normal et, d'autre part, par au moins une butée venant appuyer contre le bord opposé de ce dernier.
Pour augmenter le confort de l'enfant employant le siè- ge, ce dernier peut être pourvu d'un dossier entourant l'arrière de le lunette et destiné à soutenir le dos de l'enfant.
D'autre part, pour permettre l'emploi du siège pendant tout le temps de croissance de l'enfant, la lunette du siège con- forme à l'invention peut être excentrée par rapport à l'axe trans- versal du siège, de sorte que ce dernier peut être placé dans deux positions diamétralement opposées et de cette manière être approprié aux tout petits enfants, lorsque la lunette se trouve tout près du bord arrière, et aux enfants plus âgés, lorsque la lunette se trouve dans la position opposée.
Il peut également être pourvu d'une plaquette indépen- dante, s'adaptant dans la lunette du siège amovible et présentant également une lunette, sensiblement plus petite que celle du siè- ge amovible et rendant possible l'emploi de ce dernier pour des tout petits enfants.

La figure 1 est une vue en projection horizontale d'un siège de w.c. pour enfants, conforme à l'invention, sana dossier mais comprenant une plaquette indépendante avec lunette destinée aux tout petits enfants.

Le siège 1 de w.c. pour enfants,représenté aux dessins, présente une lunette sensiblement plus petite que la lunette du siège normal 2.
Le siège 1 est amovible et est réalisé de manière telle qu'il s'adapte au siège normal 2. La face inférieure 3 du siège amovible 1 est pourvue de moyens permettant de le fixer au siège normal 2. Dans le cas particulier représenté aux figures 1 2 et 4 les moyens précités sont, d'une part, un crochet 4, entourant le bord 5 de la lunette normale et, d'autre part, une butée 6 appuyant contre le bord 5. le crochet 4 et la butée 6 sont réalisés de telle maniè- re que le siège amovible 1 peut être placé dans deux positions diamétralement opposées, l'une comme représenté à la figure 1,

l'autre comme représenté à la figure 4.
D'autre part, la lunette 7 du siège amovible 1 est sen- siblement plus petite que la lunette du siège normal 2 et est excen- trée. Elle se trouve, par conséquent,, selon la position du siège amovible 1, soit tout près du bord arrière 8 du siège normal 2, soit tout près du bord avant 9 de ce dernier. De cette manière, dans le premier cas, le siège amovible 1 estapproprié aux enfants de l'âge inférieur et dans le deuxième cas aux enfants plus âgés.
En plus, le siège amovible 1 est pourvu d'une plaquette 10 s'adaptant dans la lunette 7. La plaquette 10 présente égale- ment une lunette 11 et est destinée à rendre possible l'emploi du w.c. normal aux tout petits enfants four rendre l'usage du dispositif décrit ci-avant plus commode,le siège amovible 1 est pourvu de deux bourrelets 12 et 13 destinés à servir d'appui aux pieds de l'enfant employant la lunette 7. Les bourrelets 12 et 13 sont disposés de part et d'au-- tre de l'axe longitudinal 14 et présentent chacun, du côté de la lunette, une surface plane 15.
Le siège amovible 1 est également pourvu de bourrelets 16 et 17,semblables à ceux décrits ci-avant et destinés aux tout petits enfants employant la lunette 11.
D' autre part, l'avant de la lunette 7, de même que l'a- vant de la lunette 11 sont garnis d'un rebord surélevé 18 destiné à rabattre l'urine vers le bas.
Dans le cas de réalisation particulière représenté aux figures 5, 6 et 7, le-siège amovible 1 est pourvu d'un dossier 19 entourant l'arrière de la lunette 7 et destiné à soutenir le dos de l'enfant.
Le dossier 19 comprend des accoudoirs 20 et 21 soutenant l'enfant des deux côtés.
Dans le cas représenté aux dessins, le dossier est réali- sé comme une pièce amovible, se fixant au siège amovible: par

des ergots 22. Il est évident que le dossier peut également être réalisé. comme une pièce solidaire du siège amovible 1 et, notamment, si le dossier 19 et le siège amovible 1 sont en ma ti.ère plastique, être coulé ensemble d'une venue avec ce der- nier.
Le dossier amovible 19 est pourvu de deux pattes la- térales 23 et 24 venant en dessous des membres de l'enfant et est par conséquent retenu par le poids propre de celui-ci.
Pour les enfants plus grands, le siège amovible 1 est pourvu de pédales 25 et 26. Celles-ci sont, d'une part, accro- chées au siège amovible 1 par un moyen quelconque connu et, d'autre part, sont pourvues d'un pied 27 prenant appui sur le va- se du w.e.
Afin d'éviter le basculement de tout le dispositif,si l'enfant se dressait sur les pédales, le siège amovible 1 est pourvu d'un crochet 28 entourant le bord 5 de la lunette normale en sa partie avant, du type du crochet 4 décrit précédemment et d'une butée 29 appuyant contre le bord avant 9 du siège;, en va- riante de la butée 6 décrite plus haut.
Il doit être entendu que l'invention n'est nullement limitée aux formes de réalisation décrites et que bien des modi- fications peuvent être apportées à ces dernières sans sortir du cadre du présent brevet.
C'est ainsi que le siège de w.c. pour enfants, compre- nant tous les accessoires décrits ci-avant ou seulement une par- tie de ces accessoires, pourrait être prévu pour être monté en lieu et place du couvercle qui accompagne généralement le siège normal et qui-permet d'en recouvrir la lunette.

The present invention relates to a toilet seat.
The aim of the invention is to make it possible for children to use the normal toilet both from the moment they can sit still and throughout their growth and that until the moment when the use of the device making the object of the present invention will become superfluous.
For this purpose, the toilet seat according to the invention has a bezel proportioned to the dimensions of the limbs of a young child, and therefore significantly smaller than the normal bezel.
The object of the invention can be achieved in different ways.

According to a particular embodiment, the seat is provided with means, for example with hinges, allowing it to be mounted in place of the cover which generally accompanies a normal seat and which makes it possible to cover the bezel.
Finally, according to a second particular embodiment, the seat is constituted by an independent plate preferably provided with means allowing it to be fixed to a normal seat of w. vs.
In the latter case, according to a preferred embodiment, the fixing means are integral with the lower surface of the removable seat and consist, on the one hand, of a hook surrounding the edge of the normal seat and, of 'on the other hand, by at least one stop coming to rest against the opposite edge of the latter.
To increase the comfort of the child using the seat, the latter can be provided with a backrest surrounding the back of the bezel and intended to support the child's back.

On the other hand, the window 7 of the removable seat 1 is significantly smaller than the window of the normal seat 2 and is offset. It is therefore found, depending on the position of the removable seat 1, either very close to the rear edge 8 of the normal seat 2, or very close to the front edge 9 of the latter. In this way, in the first case, the removable seat 1 is suitable for children of the younger age and in the second case for older children.
In addition, the removable seat 1 is provided with a plate 10 which fits into the seat 7. The removable backrest 19 is provided with two side legs 23 and 24 coming below the child's limbs and is therefore retained by the child's own weight.
