Abstract

The method involves preparing an object, to be decorated, by depositing a film of a sublimable pigmented composition e.g. polyvinyl acetate, on the object. The prepared object is soaked in a non-ferrous metal alloy bath maintained at a nominal temperature for activating the composition. The bath is formed by an alloy of antimony, bismuth, lead, tin and cadmium and the composition has an insoluble colorant or a metallic powder. An independent claim is also included for an equipment for the implementation of a three-dimensional article decoration method.
