Abstract

The kit has a container (3) containing a product (2) e.g. mascara, and an applicator (4) immersed in the container in order to apply the product. A tool (5) permitting a user to make-up keratin fiber is placed in another container (6) without the product. The tool has two branches (18, 19) with respective end parts (20, 21) that are brought together by the user during make-up. An independent claim is also included for a make-up method.

Description

The present invention relates to the makeup of keratinous fibers,

including eyelashes and eyebrows.

  It is known to use for makeup eyelashes packaging and application devices comprising a container containing the product to be applied, for example mascara, and an applicator can be immersed in the container to take the product. The applicator comprises a rod provided at one end with an applicator member such as a brush or a comb. The container may be provided with a wiper member for squeezing the rod and the applicator member as they exit the container.

  There is a need to further improve the makeup obtained with such devices.

  US Patent 5,007,442 discloses an applicator having two branches respectively provided with a comb and a brush.

  European Patent Application EP 0 365 273 A2 discloses a packaging and application device comprising two applicators which can be engaged in a common container.

  The European patent application EP 0 960 584 A1 describes a device for packaging and applying to keratinous fibers comprising an applicator member secured to a gripping member and coming into a container containing the product to be applied and a counterpart integral with the gripping member, which can be brought closer to the applicator member during use.

  US Patent 3,690,777 discloses a packaging and application device comprising two containers arranged in the extension of one another and receiving different respective applicators.

  A device for applying mascara and curling eyelashes is disclosed in US Patent 2,323,595.

  Another packaging and application device is described in the German utility model G 9316704. This device comprises two branches respectively provided at their ends with a brush and a comb or two brushes.

  All these known devices are relatively complicated and / or not very easy to use.

  In addition, when used, the product may not have dried sufficiently to allow the desired result to be easily achieved.

  The invention aims to further improve the devices for makeup keratin fibers.

  According to one of its aspects, the subject of the invention is a kit for the makeup of keratinous fibers, in particular eyelashes, comprising: a set of packaging and application of a product on keratin fibers, comprising an applicator and a reserve of a product to be applied by means of the applicator, - a tool allowing the user to perfect the makeup of keratinous fibers, comprising two branches, at least one of which has an end portion arranged to allow the user to act on the eyelashes, including combing them.

  The invention makes it possible to make up the keratinous fibers in two stages, namely with a first phase of application of the product by means of the applicator and a second phase of working the fibers by means of the tool.

  The tool can be used independently of the applicator, the second phase can take place after allowing the product deposited on the eyelashes time to dry sufficiently for an optimal result can be obtained.

  In addition, the tool remains relatively clean, not being immersed in the product.

  The aforesaid end portion which allows the user to act on the eyelashes may include a protruding element, more preferably a plurality of protruding elements, which may be used to comb the eyelashes for example.

  The kit may comprise a first container and a second container integral with the first, these first and second containers being able to receive respectively the product reserve and the tool.

  The first container receiving the supply of product can also receive at least partially the applicator when the first container is closed, especially in a sealed manner.

  The second container may be devoid of any product to be applied by means of the tool.

  The second container can be located in the extension of the first; alternatively, the first and second containers may be arranged side by side.

  At least one of the containers can serve as a gripping member when using the applicator or the tool.

  The second container receiving the tool can serve as a gripping member for the applicator when using it.

  The tool may or may not be subject to a closure member of the second container.

  The branches may each be provided with an end portion intended to come into contact with the eyelashes when the two branches are close together. These two end portions may be identical or different, the distribution of the projecting elements thereon may be homogeneous or not, symmetrical with respect to a median plane or not.

  The two end portions may be arranged to engage at least partially one in the other when the branches are close together and have for example substantially complementary shapes. The two end portions may comprise for example projecting elements overlapping or juxtaposing at least partially when the branches are close together.

  At least one of the branches may comprise an end portion having a first face facing towards the end portion of the other branch and a second face opposite to the first face and this second face may be provided with at least one a projecting element, which can be used for example when the user does not wish to tighten the eyelashes between the branches.

  The limbs may have end portions having first faces facing towards each other when the limbs are near and second faces opposite to the first, and the end portions may have protruding members on the first and second faces.

  The branches can be made monolithically with a joining part joining them. The branches may alternatively be joined by a joining portion attached thereto.

  The branches can be assembled with a possibility of longitudinal shift. The branches can be assembled with a possibility of lateral shift. The tool may comprise a member for adjusting the tightening of one of the branches against the other, at their junction.

  The applicator may include a brush. The first container may comprise a wiper member.

  The kit may include an element for cleaning the tool, in particular a porous material impregnated with a biocidal agent present in the second container.

  The subject of the invention is also a makeup process, in which: a product is applied to keratinous fibers, in particular eyelashes, by means of an applicator; makeup is perfected using a tool comprising two branches that can be brought together; after allowing the product deposited on the keratin fibers to be dried at least partially.

  The kit 1 represented in FIG. 1 comprises, on the one hand, a supply of product 2 contained in a receptacle 3 into which an applicator 4 can be immersed in order to take up product and on the other hand a tool 5 received, in the absence of use, in a container 6 empty of product and provided with an opening 26.

  In the example in question, the container 3 comprises a neck 7, externally threaded, on which a closing cap 8 can be screwed which also constitutes a gripping member of the applicator 4. The latter comprises a rod 10 which connects to a end to the closure cap 8 and which supports at the other end an applicator member 12 formed in the example in question by a twisted core brush.

  The neck 7 is internally provided with a wiper member 14 which allows the rod 10 and the applicator member 12 to be dewatered during removal of the applicator 4 from the container 3.

  In the example in question, the containers 3 and 6 are made monolithically by plastic molding, being arranged next to each other.

  The kit 1 further comprises a cover 16 which can be fixed, for example by snapping, on the containers 3 and 6 and which can prevent the tool 5 from leaving the container 6, during transport for example.

  The tool 5 has two branches 18 and 19 provided with respective end portions 20 and 21 which can be brought closer by the user during makeup.

  In the example considered, these end portions 20 and 21 can at least partially nest when the legs 18 and 19 are close together and each comprise projecting elements extending towards the other end portion. These projecting elements may consist for example of bristles and / or teeth.

  In the example of Figures 1 to 3, the end portion 20 is constituted by a twisted core brush and the end portion 21 by a comb, which is for example made in one piece by molding plastics material with the branch 19. This comb comprises in the illustrated example two rows of teeth 24 substantially parallel and between which the end portion 20 can engage when the two branches 18 and 19 are closest to the maximum, as can be seen in Figures 2 and 3.

  Kit 1 can be used as follows.

  The user first applies the product to the eyelashes, for example by means of the applicator 4, and after the product has dried at least partially, the tool 5 can be used to treat the eyelashes.

  The user can engage the latter between the end portions 20 and 21 without tightening the branches then bring them together and move the tool outwards with the branches tight.

  Depending on the movement given to the tool 5 as well as the nature of the end portions 20 and 21, the tool 5 can be used to separate and / or curl the eyelashes.

  Depending on the pressure on the branches, the user can vary the effects.

  After use, the user can reintroduce the tool 5 into the container 6 through the opening 26 thereof and replace the cover 16.

  Of course, the invention is not limited to a particular embodiment of the tool and many variants are possible, depending on the desired effects.

  In the example of FIG. 4, the possibility has been illustrated for the tool to comprise end portions 20 and 21 which are identical, constituted for example, as illustrated, by combs having teeth made in one piece by molding of plastic material with the branches. The teeth 24 are arranged for example on opposite faces of the branches of the tool, their shape and their arrangement on these faces can be varied. It is possible to use, for example, V-shaped teeth, offset or not laterally in the axis of the row, or even double rows of V-shaped teeth. The teeth 24 may be rectilinear, as illustrated in FIG. 4 or have a different shape. , for example with angular portions as illustrated in FIG. 5.

  In the example of FIG. 6, the end portions 20 and 21 comprise bristles having different sizes, for example bristles for the end portion 20 of greater diameter than those of the end portion 21. These bristles may for example be stapled hairs in the branches 18 and 19 or fixed otherwise, for example by overmolding. The bristles can thus be surinjected on one and / or the other of the end portions.

  In the variant embodiment illustrated in FIG. 30, the containers 3 and 6 are still located in the extension of one another, the container 6 being integral with the closure member 8 of the container 3.

  The kit is advantageously used for makeup eyelashes but can also be used for the makeup of keratin fibers other than eyelashes, for example hair.

  Other projecting elements than those illustrated in the figures can be used, for example any type of teeth or bristles, including round section, square, triangular, polygonal, oval, especially elliptical, or other hairs.

  The bristles or teeth can be made in one piece by molding material with the tool or made with a support and the latter attached to the rest of the tool, being fixed for example by gluing, welding, latching or crimping. This may allow for example to make the hair or teeth in a softer material than the materials used to achieve the branches of the tool.
