Abstract

The composite panel, comprising a central honeycomb core (1) covered on both sides with a layer of resin-impregnated fabric (2) and a thin wood veneer (5) on at least one side, has a layer of a rigid plastic closed-cell foam (3) and a second layer of resin-impregnated fabric (4) between the veneer and the first layer of resin-impregnated fabric, so that the foam layer lies between two layers of fabric. The composite panel, comprising a central honeycomb core (1) covered on both sides with a layer of resin-impregnated fabric (2) and a thin wood veneer (5) on at least one side, has a layer of a rigid plastic closed-cell foam (3) and a second layer of resin-impregnated fabric (4) between the veneer and the first layer of resin-impregnated fabric, so that the foam layer lies between two layers of fabric.
