Abstract

  The invention relates to an access control system of a space accessible to vehicles and pedestrians.

  Access to car parks, campsites or spaces dedicated to travelers must be controlled to avoid wild campsites.

  The owners of these spaces want to prevent caravans from setting up without their permissions.

  Generally, these accesses are controlled by gantries whose height of the transverse beam is at a relatively low level of the order of 2 meters which prevents caravans from passing because the height of these is of the order of two meters forty.

  To pass a caravan, the gantry must be designed to be able to retract the high beam and different systems exist.

  There is also known a system constituting a retractable terminal which, housed in the ground, can be partly moved outwards and constitute an obstacle to the passage of a car.

  In the latter case, it is necessary to systematically maneuver the terminal at each passage but its resistance to external aggression is important especially when the locking and unlocking mechanism is of the type described in the patent application FR-A-2 794 777.

  One of the disadvantages of the gantry is that pedestrians and vehicles use the same lane.

  Another disadvantage is that related to a failure of the system which then immobilizes the circulation of at least the caravans.

  One of the aims of the invention is to provide a solution to the problems mentioned above.

  For this purpose the invention relates to an access control system of a space accessible to vehicles and pedestrians comprising an obstacle, this access system being characterized in that it comprises, on the one hand, a gantry straddling a traffic lane, this gantry limiting traffic to vehicles having an external jig compatible with the geometry of the gantry and, secondly, a retractable terminal located on another path close to the lane overlapped by the aforementioned gantry.

  The invention will be better understood using the following description given by way of nonlimiting example with reference to the drawing which shows schematically: FIG 1 an example of an access control system FIG 2 a second example of a system access control.

  Referring to the drawing we see a system 1 for access control to a space to control the passage of certain vehicles.

  This control system therefore comprises at least one obstacle to the free movement of certain vehicles.

  To access this space, it is necessary to cross this access control system.

  According to the invention, this access control system comprises, on the one hand, a gantry 2 straddling a first lane 3 of circulation, this gantry limiting the circulation to vehicles having an external jig compatible with the geometry of the gantry and, d on the other hand, located on another track 4 close to the track, which is overlapped by the aforementioned portico, a retractable terminal 5.

  The two lanes 3,4 are each delimited by fixed obstacles such as a thick wall or a ditch or fixed studs bordering them so that access to this space is possible only through these lanes.

  The wall 6 will include hidden garbage cans.

  Thanks to the gantry2, it is possible to prohibit the movement of caravans but to allow all the cars to circulate freely.

  The retractable terminal 5 allows, when lowered, to let the caravans. When this bollard is erected above the ground, pedestrians may use the passage left free on either side of the bollard to avoid using the track used by cars.

  Advantageously, when the track where the retractable terminal is located prohibits the passage, it delimits two secondary tracks 4A, 4B of which a 4B has a width sufficient to that required for the passage of a vehicle and this secondary track of sufficient width is blocked by a removable obstacle 7 so that if the retractable terminal is down in position above the ground, it is possible to retract the removable obstacle 7 and allow the passage of all vehicles through the secondary path 4B.

  This removable obstacle 7 is, for example, made by a second retractable terminal or by a beam locally blocking the secondary path.

  The implantation of the obstacle on the traffic lane comprising this obstacle and the retractable terminal must be determined to allow sufficient distance between this removable obstacle 7, in the active position, and that 8 of the edges of the lane located on the other side. side of the retractable terminal for the passage of a caravan when the retractable terminal is lowered.

  This implantation must also allow to leave a sufficient passage when the retractable terminal 5 is in the high position and the removable obstacle 7 removed.

  The width of the track comprising the retractable bollard and the moving obstacle will for example be four and a half meters with a terminal occupying a width of sixty centimeters and disposed, on the one hand, at one meter and a half from one of the edges of the track. and, on the other hand, two and a half meters from the other side.

  On this secondary track is positioned the removable obstacle so that this secondary track of two meters fifty is reduced to one meter forty.

  In the form of representation of Figure 2, the two paths are contiguous and the removable obstacle is a sliding beam carried by a support. The active length of the beam will, in the example shown, one meter ten.

  This beam is guided in translation by rollers.

  The internal width of the gantry will for example be three meters with a height of two meters and ten centimeters.

  These dimensions are given for information only.

  As can be seen, the gantry 2 was designed to allow the passage, for example, of a car carrying a bicycle on its roof.

  The gantry thus comprises two uprights 2A determining the maximum width over a given height and above these amounts a cap 2B reducing the width either gradually or in stages.

  An ornamental or information element can be mounted on this frame.

  In order to increase its strength, this gantry, made of galvanized steel tube, is filled with concrete.

  The engine is chosen to resist moisture.

  A cylinder supply line will link it to a technical room whose access will obviously be limited to competent personnel.

  The oil pump for the cylinder is supplied with alternating current, preferably with the possibility of supplying it with a backup battery which can be provided by the personnel managing the access.

  It is also possible to use a coded locking system.

  The moving obstacle will also be locked by a locking system such as a double closure system. An axis will lock the moving obstacle and this axis will be, for example operated by an electromagnet powered by the same power source as that used for troubleshooting the retractable terminal.
