Description

Deliable or water-soluble heat seal valve for paper bags.
The present invention relates to a heat sealable and / or water soluble heat seal valve for paper bags. The invention also relates to bags made of crumbling paper equipped with such a valve.
For many years, paper bags have been known in the art which are entirely deleterious, that is to say they are soluble and / or able to disperse in water and, consequently, to be reused for the manufacture of a new paper paste.
This technique is perfectly mastered by the manufacturers of paper bags and it could be used without any problem with valve bags, as long as it was not required that the valves that equip them be perfectly sealed during filling .
The appearance of ultrasonic weldable valves, using a technical resin, however, questioned the recycling process of these bags, because the valves thus welded are not soluble in water.
It is this problem that the present invention aims to solve by proposing a weldable valve which can equip paper bags and which is nonetheless able to dissolve and / or disintegrate in water.
For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a heat-sealable valve for bags made of soluble and / or water-soluble paper, characterized in that it comprises a tubular element capable of being secured to a paper bag, to the location of a usual valve, by a glue soluble in water, this tubular element comprising a sleeve of soluble paper and / or friable in water, coated on its inner side with a film of a plastic material suitable to be heat-sealed on itself and soluble or friable in water, this plastic film adhering to the paper sleeve by a glue soluble in water.
The subject of the invention is also a bag of crumbling paper equipped with a valve of the type which has just been defined, which is attached to the bag at the location of the usual valves and which is secured to the paper constituting the bag by bonding against it of the paper and / or water soluble sleeve of this valve, using a glue soluble in water.
Temporary protection paper may be provided inside the tubular element, in order to avoid accidental sealing of the valve by migration of glue during bonding of the closure of the bottom of the paper bag.
The plastic film soluble and / or disintegrable in the water of the valve may be of any known type, especially polyvinyl alcohol. In particular, mention will be made of the soluble films marketed by NORDENIA TECHNOLOGIES.
The paper of the tubular element of the valve may advantageously be of the same type as that of the paper bag.
As glue, it will be possible to use any glue compatible with the film of soluble and / or water-soluble plastic material, for example a simple glue with starch. It should naturally be ensured that the glue does not cause local dissolution of the plastic material.
The features and advantages of the invention will become more apparent from the detailed description which follows of a form of implementation thereof. In this description, reference will be made to the accompanying diagrammatic drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a fragmentary exploded perspective view of a bag made of crumbled paper equipped with a valve according to the invention; Figure 2 is a view of the same bag with the valve in the assembled position, but before gluing the protective sheet of this part of the bag; Figure 3 is a partial plan view of the empty bag folded flat.
The bag 1 made of paper shown in these figures is of a very usual type and here it comprises two side walls 2, articulated together by parallel fold lines, to fold the empty bag flat, as we see it in figure 3.
Internal flaps 3 and outer 4, articulated by fold lines and assembled together by gluing, as seen in Figure 1, close the bag at this level.
A tubular valve 5 is interposed between the inner flaps 3 and outer 4 and allows to communicate the inside and outside of the bag during filling thereof, the valve 5 is then closed.
A tread paper strip 6 is glued to the outside of the flaps 4 to lock this portion of the valve bag in the assembled position.
According to the invention, the valve 5 is a tubular element made of a complex material, comprising an outer foil 7 of editable paper, on the inner side of which is adhered with a water-soluble glue a film 8 of a plastic material also soluble and / or disintegrable in water and adapted to be heat-sealed on itself, to close the valve.
During the manufacture of the bag, a protective paper, not shown, may be provided inside the valve, to prevent accidental bonding thereof by glue migration during assembly by gluing the bag.
After use of this bag and recovery of the empty bag, it can be recycled to make paper pulp, all its components, including those of the valve, being deleterious and / or soluble in water.
Any soluble and / or water-soluble and self-sealable plastic film can be used to make the inner part of the valve 5 and its thickness can vary, and be equal for example to 80 micrometers for a paper of 90 g / m or more . As for the paper used for the realization of the valve, it can be any friable paper usually used to make bags of friable paper.
