Abstract

The suspension device comprises a support (2) intended to be fixed on a part of a building and a poster holder (1) intended to be added to the support by means of magnets. The magnets are placed at the same time on the support and the notice holder so that when the notice holder is added to the support each of the support magnets are opposite a notice holder magnet. The notice holder comprises a magnetic clamp for holding a notice (6) and is formed by a notice holder surface (19) and a removable slide (5).

The invention relates to a suspension device.

  a poster, used in particular to hang advertising posters in supermarkets or shopping malls.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

  In such places, the hanging height of the posters is important, and obliges, for the installation of said posters, the implementation by the personnel concerned of ladders or elevators having to meet the 10 security requirements required by regulations, what

  which constitutes a costly constraint for the store operator. In addition, this material is bulky and constitutes a nuisance for consumers or requires use outside normal working hours, also expensive.

  In order to avoid such drawbacks, suspension devices have been proposed comprising a mobile support equipped with a reel which receives two wires or straps which are attached to part of a building 20 (ceiling, frame, etc.) To hang a poster, you order the reel to lower the support, you fix the poster on the support, then you order the reel

  This type of device is illustrated by document FR 2 773 412, which has a support with a motorized reel controlled remotely by a remote control. The poster is fixed by securing the poster to a poster holder and by attaching the poster holder to the casing of the mobile support by means of magnets. This type of device nevertheless has numerous drawbacks essentially due to the motorization requiring to carry bacteria or to provide an electrical supply, and to maintenance followed for

keep them in working order.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

  The subject of the invention is a device for hanging a poster which does not require the use of ladders or elevators, while being simpler than the devices already proposed.

  BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION More specifically, the invention relates to a device for suspending a poster from a structure, including a support provided with means for fixing to the structure, and a poster holder intended to be detachably attached. on the support by means of magnets, remarkable in that the support and the poster holder are made of non-magnetic material and in that the magnets are arranged both on the support and on the poster holder so that when the holder posters are attached to the support, each of the magnets in the support is

  next to a magnet on the poster holder.

  Thus, each of the magnets of the support attracts to it the corresponding magnet of the poster holder, which allows

  not only to fix the poster holder to the support, but also to position the poster holder precisely and automatically on the support when the poster holder is close to the support, in a don25 born position determined by the attraction of the magnets.

  This is especially interesting in the case where the support is fixed and placed in height, the poster holder étanr carried at the end of a pole to be rappor =: on the support. The device according to the invention ga30 confirms that the poster holder will be correctly positioned

  The device of the invention does not require any

  moving part, which makes it particularly simple and inexpensive.

  According to a preferred embodiment, the magnets are, on the support and on the poster holder, arranged in a longitudinal line and regularly spaced

on this line.

  Throughout the text, the term longitudinal designates a direction parallel to the upper edge of the poster when it is received on the poster holder. This direction is substantially horizontal when the poster is

  suspended by means of the device of the invention.

  According to a particular aspect of the invention, the poster holder comprises a magnetic clamp for holding a poster on the poster holder, the clamp being formed on the one hand by a surface of the poster holder and on the other hand by a bar removable intended to be attached to said surface to pinch the poster between

  the poster holder and the removable bar, the latter being provided with magnets which are arranged so that when the bar is attached to the poster holder, each of the magnets of the bar is opposite a magnet of the holder -posters.

  The bar is then automatically positioned on the poster holder when it is approached, which prevents any risk of incorrect positioning of the removable bar which can lead to

his detachment.

  According to a first embodiment of the invention, the device comprises means for lifting the poster holder to the carrier support: a pole with a T-shaped end, as well as a hollow structure 30 integral with the poster holder s 'extending in a longitudinal direction and having an ongitudinal cvere and a central opening adapted to receive

the T-shaped end of the pole.

  According to a second embodiment of the invention, the device comprises means for lifting the poster holder up to the support comprising a pole provided at its end with a holding member for the poster holder, the holding member with magnets

  for retaining the poster holder by exerting on it an attraction force less than an attraction force between the support and the poster holder, the lifting means further comprising a longitudinal step of the poster holder which is intended to be received in a homogeneous groove of the holding member.

  Preferably, the magnets of the holding member are arranged so as to be opposite magnets of the removable bar when the poster holder is held by the holding member.

  Advantageously, one of the elements of the support or of the poster holder has a relief extending longitudinally, the relief being received in a hollow homologous with the other element when the poster holder is attached.

  DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

  With reference to FIG. 1, the device for hanging a poster according to a first embodiment of the invention comprises a poster holder 1 and a support 2 5 fixed for example on a wall or a part of the frame of a building. (not shown).

  These two elements are made of a material

non-magnetic, here in aluminum.

  The support 2 comprises a magnetic part 3 which extends in a longitudinal direction and which cooperates

  with a magnetic part 4 homologous to the poster holder 1 for detachably retaining the latter in position on the support 2. The manner in which the poster holder 1 is magnetically retained on the support 2 will be described later in relation to the figure 2.

  The poster holder 1 comprises a clamp for retaining a poster 6, comprising a removable bar 5 provided with a magnetic part which cooperates with the magnetic part 4 of the poster holder 1 to pinch the upper edge of the poster 6 between the removable bar 5 and a support surface 19 of the poster holder 1 opposite

  which the bar is attached.

  After poster 6 has been placed on

  the poster holder 1 and fixed on this one by means of the aforesaid magnetic clamp, the poster holder i is attached to the support 2. The holding of the poster holder 1 on the support 2 is ensured by the oceration of the parts displays 1 and holder 2.

  With reference to FIG. 2, the mechanical part 4 of the poster holder 1 is delimited by two parallel profiles 7 extending longitudinally projecting from the poster holder 1 so as to define a groove between them. The profiles 7 are obtained here by extrusion with the poster holder 1. The groove 8 receives magnets 9 regularly spaced, fixed for example by gluing. For example, 6 magnets are provided for a width of

1.20 meter poster holder.

  Then the assembly is covered by a protective profile 10 made of non-magnetic material, for example aluminum, the profile 10 having a shape homologous to the profiles 7. The magnetic parts of the support 2 and of the removable strip 5 are produced in the same way as the magnetic part of the poster holder 1, and therefore comprise magnets in identical number which are arranged

  longitudinally and evenly spaced.

  Thus, when the poster holder 1 is attached to the support 2, each of the magnets of the support 2 is found

  next to a magnet on the poster holder 1.

  This arrangement greatly facilitates the implementation

  instead of the poster holder 1, in particular when the support 2 is fixed in height and the poster holder 1 is carried by means of a pole. In fact, when the poster holder 1 is presented opposite the support 1, each of the magnets of the holder 2 attracts the corresponding magnet of the poster holder 1, and the poster holder 1 is thus naturally attracted towards the support 1 in a de30 position ended by configuration of the magnetic field of the magnets.

  So just present the poster holder 1

  approximately opposite the support 2, the magnets of the magnetic parts ensuring the final positioning of the poster board 1 on the support 2.

  -7 The fact that the support 2 and the poster holder 1 are made of non-magnetic material: which prevents the poster holder 1 from being able to assume a position other than

  that determined by the attraction of the magnets.

  Likewise, when the removable bar 5 is attached to the poster holder 1, each of the magnets of the removable bar 5 is opposite a magnet of the poster holder 1. This arrangement ensures automatic positioning of the removable bar 5 on the poster holder 1. Advantageously, the magnets of the magnetic parts will be spaced enough to allow immediate visual identification of a bad positioning of two elements cooperating by their magnetic parts. 15 In the above example, the space between two magnets is

  of twenty centimeters, this difference is amply sufficient to identify that the magnets of one of the magnetic parts are not opposite the corresponding magnets of the other magnetic part, but are offset with respect to the latter.

  In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1, the poster holder 1 is raised to the support 2 (or is detached from it) by means of a pole II comprising a handle 12 terminated by a transverse bar 13, so that the end of the pole 11 is -conformed in T. The poster holder 1 comprises a hollow section 14

  attached to the top of the poster holder 1, for example by riveting, the profile 14 comprising a lcngitudinal cover 15 and a central opening - peerpendicular to the longitudinal opening 15 and emerging from therein.

  These two openings allow sliding in the profile 14 the crossbar 13 of the hoop II like this

is illustrated in figure 1.

  Thus arranged, the transverse bar 13 of the pole 11 bears against _ int-r-e r of the orofi-é 14,

  which allows the lifting of the poster holder 1 by means of the pole 11, the extended support along the crossbar 13 allowing good control of the position and orientation of the poster holder 1 relative to the sup5 port 2.

  Furthermore, the handle 12 of the pole 11 cooperates with the edges of the central opening 16 to prevent the poster holder 1 from sliding along the crossbar 13, which is a safety factor, especially when the support 1 is located at a significant height.

  Referring to Figure 3, according to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the profile 14 is replaced by a hollow structure 20 integrally come by ex15 trusion with the poster holder 1, the hollow structure 20 having a longitudinal opening 15 to receive

  the crossbar at the end of the pole 11.

  According to a second embodiment of

  the invention illustrated in FIG. 4, the end of the pole 11 receives, at articulation along a transverse axis, a holding member 30 of the poster holder 1.

  The holding member 30 comprises a magnetic part 31 similar to the magnetic parts already described, but comprising a lower number of magnets. For example, the magnetic part 31 has only two magnets, located opposite the two extreme magnets of the magnetic part of the removable bar 5. Furthermore, the holding member 30 has a longitudinal groove 32 capable of receiving a step 33 longitudinal of 30 poster holder 1.

  After the poster 6 has been placed on the poster holder 1, the holding member is attached to the poster holder 1. The magnets of the holding member 30 then cooperate with the magnets of the amovi35 bar. hIe 5, and the step 33 is engaged in the groove 32. The

  pcrte-posters 1 is thus maintained at the end of the pole.

  The poster holder 1 is then presented opposite the support 2, and the magnets - the magnetic parts of the support 2 and of the poster holder i attract each other to place and hold the pcr-e-posters 1 on the support. 2. The support 2 comprises a longitudinal relief 17 which is received in a recess 18 hkmologue of the poster holder

  Then, to separate the holding member 30 from the poster holder 1, a force is exerted on the pole 11 tending to move the holding member 30 away from the poster holder 1 in a horizontal direction. As the holding member comprises a lower number 15 of magnets, the attracting force which holds the removable bar 5 on the poster holder 1 and the force

  of attraction which maintains the poster holder 1 on the support 2 are stronger than -a force of attraction between the holding member 30 and ie the poster holder 1.

  The holding member 31 is therefore detached from the poster holder 1 without it being detached from the support 2. To detach the poster holder 1 from the support 2, the holding member 30 is replaced on the poster holder 1, then a force is exerted on the pole 11 in a vertical direction. The poster holder 1 is then driven down, cr co__eration of the step 33

and groove 32.

  This movement causes the distance from the face of the poster poster 30 opposite the support 2 with respect to the latter, due to the support of the sides of the hollow 18 with

  the protruding end of the relief 17.

  The effort of attraction between the support 2 and the poster holder! therefore decreases, until it is_ possible to detach the cr-e-posters 1 from the support 2. The poster holder 1 then remains integral with the member

holding 30.

  The poster hanging device according to the invention is of very simple design, and, in the 5 embodiments illustrated, only comprises aluminum sections cut to length and magnets. The

  cost of such a device is very low.

  Alternatively, the aluminum profiles may

  be replaced by parts made of plastic.

Claims (7)

  1. Device for hanging a poster comprising on the one hand a support (2) intended to be fixed on a part of a building and on the other hand a poster holder (1) intended to be detachably attached to the support (2) by means of magnets (9), characterized in that the support (2) and the poster holder (1) are made of non-magnetic material, and in that the magnets (9) are arranged at 10 both on the support (2) and on the poster holder (1) so that when the poster holder (1) is attached to the support (2), each of the magnets of the support (2) is   next to a magnet for the poster holder (1).   2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the magnets are on the support (2) and the   poster holders (1), arranged in a longitudinal alignment, and are regularly spaced.   3. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the poster holder (1) comprises a magnetic clamp to hold a poster (6) on the poster holder (1), the clamp being formed on the one hand by a surface (19) of the poster holder (1) and on the other hand by a removable bar (5) intended to be attached to said surface (19) to pinch the poster (6) between the poster holder (1) and the removable bar (5), this   the latter being provided with magnets which are arranged so that when the removable bar (5) is attached to the poster holder (1), each of the magnets of the removable bar (5) is opposite a magnet of the poster holder 30 (1).   4. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises means for lifting the poster holder (1) to the support (2), -es lifting means comprising a pole (11) having a shaped end 35 in T, as well as a hollow structure '(4; 20) integral with the poster holder (1) and having a longitudinal opening (15) and a central opening (16) suitable for receiving   the T-shaped end of the pole (11).   5. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises means for lifting the poster holder (1) to the support (2), the lifting means comprising a pole (11) provided at its end with a holding member (30) of the poster holder (1), the holding member (30) comprising magnets for retaining the poster holder (1) by exerting on it a force   of attraction less than an attraction force between the support (2) and the poster holder (1), the lifting means further comprising a step (33) longitudinal of the poster holder (1) which is intended to be received in a groove (32) homologous to the holding member (30).   6. Device according to claim 3 and claim 5, characterized in that the magnets of the holding member (30) are arranged so as to be opposite magnets of the removable bar (5) when the holder posters (1) is held by the holding member (30).   7. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that one of the elements of the support (2) or of the poster holder (1) comprises a relief (17) extending longitudinally, the relief (17) being received in a   hollow (18) homologous to the other element when the poster holder (1) is attached to the support (2).
