  The invention relates to a molded bodywork part, such as a grille, a tailgate,

etc., with a logo.

  The invention applies to any motor vehicle comprising such a molded bodywork part.

STATE OF THE PRIOR ART

  On newly designed motor vehicles, certain body parts are made more and more frequently from molded plastic

by injection.

  This type of manufacturing makes it possible to recycle the parts and thus limits the volume of waste

  when vehicles are scrapped.

  The use of plastic also favors a reduction in the cost of manufacturing vehicles and an increase in

production rates.

  The subject of the invention is precisely a motor vehicle body part, such as a hood or a tailgate, made of molded plastic and whose original design allows it to at least partially solve the problems posed by

  existing parts, when they include a logo.

  More specifically, the invention relates to a bodywork part comprising a logo located on said part so as to significantly reduce the disassembly time during recycling and

  to remove any risk of theft of said logo.

  According to the invention, this result is obtained thanks to a bodywork part of a motor vehicle, comprising a molded structure of which an outer face carries a logo in relief, characterized in that the logo is produced in one piece with the

molded structure.

  This arrangement eliminates any risk of theft of the logo. It also reduces the number of parts to dismantle during recycling.

  FIGS. 1 and 2 show a motor vehicle hood, capable of being made of injection-molded plastic,

  according to techniques known to those skilled in the art.

  It should be noted however that the invention is not limited to a motor vehicle hood. More generally, it relates to any bodywork part made of molded plastic and whose outer surface bears one or more logos intended, most often, to display the mark of the vehicle manufacturer. In addition to the hood of the vehicle, the body parts concerned by the invention therefore also include the boot or the tailgate, as well as any other body part

likely to have a logo.

  In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2, the vehicle hood comprises a molded structure 10, made of plastic

  rigid, using the injection molding technique.

  The outer face of the molded structure carries a logo 12 allowing, for example,

  identify the make of the vehicle concerned.

  According to the invention, the structure 10 and the logo 12 are produced in a single piece of rigid plastic material, during a single injection molding operation. In other words, the logo

  12 is made in one piece with the structure 10.

  This characteristic is more particularly visible in the sectional view of FIG. 2. It can be seen in particular in this figure that the logo 12 is obtained on the external surface of the structure 10 by a relief effect. In particular, the logo 12 is separated from the rest of the exterior surface of the structure 10 by a hollow portion 14 which delimits the exterior contours of the logo. This hollow part 14 is produced during the injection molding operation during which we manufacture

  simultaneously structure 10 and logo 12.

  The logo 12 can also have its own relief comparable to that of the logos reported from

prior art.

  In order to enhance the logo 12, to improve its visibility and to distinguish it more clearly from the rest of the structure 10, it can make

  subject to one or more specific treatments.

  The aforementioned treatment may in particular consist in the placing, on the external surface of the logo 12, of one or more specific coatings different from those which are placed on the

  rest of the exterior surface of the structure 10.

  Among the coatings which can be placed on the logo 12, mention will be made, in particular, of

  for example, a coat of chrome and / or paint.

  In the embodiment shown by way of example in FIGS. 1 and 2, the protruding parts of the logo 12 can in particular be coated with chrome while the recessed parts, such as the peripheral part 14 and a possible part

  central 16, can be coated with black paint.

  The recessed portions 14 and 16, painted black, then delimit in a very visible manner the logo 12 from the rest of the exterior surface of the structure 10,

coated with another paint.

  Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment which has just been described by way of example. In particular, it will be readily understood that the shape and dimensions of the logo 12 can be

Bodywork part according to claim 2, in which the coating is chosen   in the group comprising chromium and paint.
