  for the practice of a precision game derived from the practice of football.

  The recent standard NFS 52 901 (09/1998) regulates sports equipment with free access. It imposes significant constraints on the designer. Threaded rods and nuts must be protected to prevent the risk of injury. They must also be inviolable. However, the protections by plastic caps are poorly resistant to vandalism and the through bolts can easily be unscrewed. As a result, private designers ogi ent the assembly of the peripheral structure in the workshop by welding standard metal tubes, to avoid the need for bolting.   Regarding the production of the peripheral structure of the product, the majority of production operations are carried out by an operator: cutting the tubes, carrying out the drilling, handling the lengths positioning on the template, welding. Few production operations are likely to be able to be automated. The packaging of the structure turns out to be restrictive, great length welded with returns for example, binding transport. The cost of

  production of this equipment therefore remains high.

  Regarding the realization of the partial obturation of the front face, 2s is usually used with metal walls, wood or synthetic materials. Hard materials all have the disadvantage of being audible upon impact of the ball. However, it is not possible to use flexible materials which would have the unacceptable drawback of being easily degradable. The installation of this equipment near residential areas therefore remains currently

hardly possible.

  The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks. It consists, according to a first characteristic, of a set of more or less identical sections of sheets provided with perforations and folded so as to present an opening over all or part of their length. The inner part of the tube thus reconstituted is accessible with a tool. The cutting of the sections, the drilling can be carried out flat on numerically controlled machines, resulting in a

  reducing costs and eliminating the risk of operator errors.

  According to a complementary device of the invention, said sections are assembled together by means of junction pieces and bolts opening out inside the sections. There is therefore no longer any protection for the threaded rod -2 and the nut to be provided since they are both projecting inside the tube. In addition, it will be possible to use tamper-resistant screws that only exist in short lengths. According to a complementary device of the invention, a damping material, such as a sound foam, is inserted between a first rigid wall disposed on the front and a second rigid wall located on the back of the structure. During the impact of the balloon, the assembly thus constituted has the particularity of significantly reducing noise pollution. In addition, the damping plate contributes to limiting the deformation of the wall disposed on the facade during a too violent impact of the balloon, and thus reducing

o the risks of rupture.
