Abstract

The CD container includes upper and lower compartments (B1 and B2) hinged together. The lower section includes a support (M) for the centre of a CD. This is able to receive a retaining clip which may be wedged in place to provide a secure mounting for the CD. The container for a compact disc includes a box (B) with a lower compartment (B1) and an upper compartment (B2) hinged together. In the centre of the lower compartment there is support (M) for a retaining clip. The support co-operates with the central aperture in the compact disc, and has a retaining clip attached to it. The retaining clip is attached by applying pressure to it, but the elastically deformable part is wedged once the clip is attached, in order to block temporarily the elasticity of the clip. This retains the disc and protects against being released by a sudden shock to the casing.
