Abstract

The box pallet comprises a pallet (6) and a box (2) able to be unfolded which has side walls (3,3') and a bottom (4). The box has a first unfolding element (7) folded up on the pallet comprising panels and flaps (8,8') intended to define the side walls and a frame (9) intended to rest on the pallet. A second element (15) is defined by a plate (16) located on the pallet around which the frame is positioned. A third foldable element (17) located on the pallet comprises a longitudinal band (18) edged by two articulated flaps (19,19') which unfolded constitute the bottom.

  The present invention relates to a pallet box device defined, on the one hand, by a box, in particular of cardboard or the like, comprising side walls and a bottom, and, on the other hand, by

  a pallet over which is placed said box.

  This invention relates to the field of the manufacture of large capacity packaging intended to be transported by suitable lifting means, these packaging being under the

  form of kit elements which should be assembled.

  We already know packaging of this type and made, for example, by a pallet on which is arranged

a case, especially of cardboard.

  Such a box is foldable in nature and is. usually stored in folded form while waiting to be unfolded and

  positioned on said pallet, in particular with a view to filling it.

  In this regard, it should be noted that such filling is not always carried out immediately after said box has been unfolded and positioned on the pallet. I1, then, to move the pallet box device, which is done,

  generally, manually.

  A first solution consists in exerting an action on said pallet to drag and / or push said device to its place of temporary storage. Such an action requires, for an operator, to bend down and to adopt an uncomfortable, tiring position, unsuitable for providing significant effort and, above all,

  likely to cause injury.

  One solution consists, then, in fixing said box on the pallet, in particular by stapling, and in exerting an action on this box in order to move the whole of the device. Such a practice has a certain number of drawbacks consisting, in particular, in that such an action causes deformations, or even

  damage, of the cardboard box which is not acceptable.

  In addition, it should be noted that such pallet box devices are, generally, delivered in kit form to the user. The latter then ensures the assembly of this device before filling the box and shipping. Arriving at destination, said box is emptied and the device is. usually,

  redirected to its recipient for a new filling. It is obvious that the fixing of such a box on said pallet makes such a device unsuitable for use as packaging.

  The object of the present invention is to remedy the

  disadvantages of the prior art devices.

  Another object of the invention is to provide a pallet box device delivered as a kit, in particular individually, and occupying a

minimum volume.

  To this end, the present invention relates to a pallet box device defined, on the one hand, by a box, in particular of cardboard or the like, comprising side walls and a bottom, and, on the other hand, by a pallet over which said box is arranged, characterized in that said box comprises: - a first foldable element at the level of which are defined, on the one hand, said side walls of the box and, on the other hand, flaps, extending said side walls and which, in the unfolded position of the box, define a frame intended to rest on the pallet; - A second element defined by a plate attached to said pallet and around which is positioned the frame defined by said flaps; - A third foldable element, disposed above said plate, constituting, in the unfolded position, the bottom of the body and comprising, on the one hand, a longitudinal strip made integral with said pallet and, on the other hand, two flaps articulated on said longitudinal strip and bordering the latter longitudinally. The advantages of the present invention consist in that said pallet box device is in the form of a kit comprising said pallet on which are arranged, in particular in the folded state, the first, the second and the third element. Such a kit device is intended to be delivered, or even stored, as is. After delivery and before filling, the said device

pallet box is mounted.

  Another advantage is that such a device can be delivered individually and no longer requires the delivery, independently, of a batch of pallets, a batch of cases, or even a batch of

covers for such cases.

  The particularly clever design of this device allows a mounting of this device by a single person and no longer by two operators like the devices of the prior art. Other objects and advantages of the present invention

  Understanding this description will be facilitated by

  The present invention relates to the field of manufacturing

  packaging to contain and transport goods.

  As can be seen in the figures in the appended drawings, such packaging is constituted by a pallet box device 1 which, as the name suggests, is defined, on the one hand, by a box 2 comprising side walls 3 , 3 'and a bottom 4, such a box 2 can be supplemented by a cover 5, in particular of the removable type.

  Such a case 2 is. in particular and at least in part, defined in cardboard or the like, and is generally presented in a folded form which it is necessary to unfold to constitute a case

  2 suitable for containing goods.

  Such a pallet box device 1 is defined, on the other hand,

  by a pallet 6 over which is disposed said box 2.

  According to the invention, this box 2 comprises a first foldable element 7 at the level of which are defined, on the one hand, said side walls 3, 3 'of the box 2 and, on the other hand, flaps 8, 8', extending said side walls 3, 3 'and which, in the unfolded position of the body 2, define a frame 9 intended to rest on

palette 6.

  One such first element 7 is. generally made of cardboard or the like and can be defined in a single piece or in several pieces (for example two) which should be assembled. Such an embodiment (with two pieces) has been represented in FIG. 3 corresponding

  to half of such a first element 7.

  In fact, such a first element 7 comprises a succession of panels 10, 11 articulated and capable of defining the side walls 3,

3 'of said box 2.

  In this regard, it will be observed that a preferred embodiment of the invention consists of using a first element 7 designed capable of being folded in the manner of a so-called "American" box. Such an embodiment allows the production of a first element 7 whose dimensions, in the folded state (as visible in FIG. 2), do not exceed those of the pallet 6 so that this first element 7 can be placed on this last 6 without going over it. Such a first element 7 then comprises at least one panel 10 capable of defining a side wall 3 constituting a long side

of a case 2.

  This first element 7 further comprises at least one other panel 11 capable of defining a side wall 3 'constituting a small

side of this box 2.

  In this regard, it should be observed that, in the case of a first element 7 foldable in the manner of an "American" box, s 2824046 the panel 11, defining the side wall 3 'of a small side of

  this box 2 is defined by two flaps 12, 12 'articulated.

  As shown in Figures 2, 3 and 5, the side walls

  3, 3 'are extended by flaps 8, 8'.

  A preferred embodiment consists of giving said flaps 8, 8 'a shape such that, during the unfolding of the first element 7 and the folding of the flaps 8, 8', the latter 8, 8 'define a frame 9 of which the sides are juxtaposed without overlapping. Such a goal can be achieved by ensuring a cut to 45 of

  these flaps 8, 8 ′ as visible in FIG. 3.

  Another characteristic of these flaps 8 is that the flap 8 ', extending the panel 11 defining the side wall 3' intended to define a small side of the body 2, has a cutout 13. The latter is formed at the edge of said flap 8 'and is located at a certain distance from the articulation line 14 between

this flap 8 'and the panel 11.

  Maintaining a certain distance between this cutout 13 and the articulation line 14 contributes to the rigidity of the body 2 by increasing the resistance to deformation of the

first element 7.

  According to another characteristic of the invention, this box 2 comprises a second element 15 defined by a plate 16 attached to said pallet 6 and around which the frame is positioned.

  In this regard, it will be observed that this plate 16 has a thickness corresponding, substantially (or even preferably being equal), to that of the flaps 8, 8 '. Such an embodiment makes it possible to define a substantially flat surface over which goods can be arranged without undergoing a tilt which is detrimental to an appropriate and stable stacking of such goods. As mentioned above, the frame 9 defined by the flaps 8, 8 'is positioned around said plate 16. In fact, the latter 16 is designed so that its dimensions avoid, on the one hand, a overlap between the latter 16 and the flaps 8, 8 '

  so as to define such a flat surface and, on the other hand, too great a spacing between said plate 16 and said flaps 8, 8 ′ so as to avoid holes at this flat surface. Thus, this plate 16 has dimensions such that said frame 9 is positioned at a certain distance (from

  preferably low) or near this plate 16.

  It will be observed that this plate 16 can, moreover, constitute means for pre-positioning and / or means for pre-centering the

  first element 7 on the pallet 6.

  According to another characteristic of the invention, said box 2 comprises a third foldable element 17, disposed over said plate 16 and constituting, in the unfolded position, the bottom 4 of this

box 2.

  This third foldable element 17 comprises, on the one hand, a longitudinal strip 18, centered with respect to this third element 17 and extending in a manner substantially parallel to the long side of the

box 2.

  This longitudinal strip 18 is made integral with said pallet 6 by means of securing means 23, in particular bindings or the like. Such an embodiment allows, at the same time, to make said plate 16 integral

from this palette 6.

  In this regard, it will be observed that a preferred embodiment consists in manufacturing a pallet box device 1, the kit of which already includes the plate 16 and said third element 17 rendered

  integral with said pallet 6 (Figure 4).

  This third foldable element 17 comprises, on the other hand, two flaps 19, 19 'articulated on said longitudinal strip 18 and

  bordering the latter 18 longitudinally.

  These flaps 19, 19 'are intended to be folded down one towards the other 19', in a direction indicated by arrows in Figure 4, and so that said third element 17 adopts

  a shape, substantially "U" or triangle.

  In this regard, it will be observed that said third element 17 can, advantageously, be supplemented by means 20 (associated with flaps 19, 19 ′) capable of holding said third element 17 in

  this "U" or triangle configuration, especially temporarily and for the duration of the installation of said first

item 7 on palette 6.

  In this regard, it will be noted that the cutout 13 of the flap 8 'has a width at least equal (of preLérence substantially adjusted) to that of the longitudinal strip 18 of said third element 17 so as to allow, during the establishment of the first element 7 on the pallet 6, a passage of this cut 13 at the edge of said third element 17 configured in

"U" or triangle.

  Another characteristic consists in that said third element 17 has a notch 21 extending on either side of said longitudinal strip 18, this at the sides 22 of said third element 17 intended to adjoin a side wall 3 '

  constituting a small side of the body 2.

  Such a notch 21 is intended to allow passage, at the edge of said third element 17 configured in "U" or triangle, flaps 8 'in at least partially folded position, this during the establishment of said first element 7 on the pallet 6 and when these flaps 8 'arrive near said

longitudinal strip 18.

  In this regard, it will be observed that the depth of this notch 21 and the depth of the cutout 13 are designed so as to allow such a passage, preferably, without causing any

deformation of the body 2.

  As visible in FIG. 5, after the first element 7 has been placed on the pallet 6, the flaps 19, 19 ′ are deployed according to the arrows and cover the plate 16 and the frame 9 of the

  flaps 8, 8 'to define the bottom 4 of the body 2.

  These flaps 19, 19 'then come substantially to bear on the internal side of the side walls 3, 3' of the body 2 which completes the centering and positioning of said first element 7 on

palette 6.

  Thus, the third element 17 constitutes positioning means and / or means for centering the body 2 on the

palette 6.

  The first 7 and / or the second 15 and / or the third 17 element are defined in a foldable material more particularly of cardboard

or the like.

  1) Pallet box device (1) defined, on the one hand, by a box (2), in particular of cardboard or the like, comprising side walls (3, 3 ′) and a bottom (4), and, d 'other hand, by a pallet (6) over which is disposed said box (2), characterized in that said box (2) comprises: - a first foldable element (7) at which are defined, a on the one hand, said side walls (3, 3 ') of the body (2) and, on the other hand, flaps (8, 8'), extending said side walls (3, 3 ') and which, in the unfolded position of the body (2), define a frame (9) intended to rest on the pallet (6); - a second element (15) defined by a plate (16) attached to said pallet (6) and around which is positioned the frame (9) defined by said flaps (8, 8 '); - A third foldable element (17), disposed over said plate (16), constituting, in the unfolded position, the bottom (4) of the body (2) and comprising, on the one hand, a longitudinal strip (18) rendered integral with said pallet (6) and, on the other hand, two flaps (19, 19 ') articulated on said longitudinal strip (18) and bordering   the latter (18) longitudinally.
