Abstract

The invention relates to a kit pallet box device (1) defined by a pallet (6) and by a foldable box (2), disposed on this pallet (6) and which, when unfolded, has side walls (3, 3 ') and a bottom (4). This box (2) is characterized in that it is defined by a first unfoldable element (7), arranged folded over the pallet (6), comprising panels and flaps (8, 8 ') intended to define, respectively , the side walls (3; 3 ') and a frame (9) intended to rest on the pallet (6); a second element (15) defined by a plate (16), disposed on said pallet (6), around which (16) is positioned the frame (9) of said first unfolded element (7); a third foldable element (17), disposed on said pallet (6), comprising a longitudinal strip (18) bordered by two articulated flaps (19, 19 ') and intended to constitute, unfolded, the bottom (4). Description

The present invention relates to a pallet box device in kit defined by a pallet and a type box unfoldable, in particular in cardboard or the like, arranged at least in part folded back over said pallet and which, under unfolded shape, has side walls and a bottom.

The present invention also relates to a pallet box device, especially obtained after assembly of the various elements constituting such a kit, and defined, on the one hand, by a box, especially of cardboard or the like, having side walls and a bottom, and, on the other hand, by a pallet on top which is disposed said box.

This invention relates to the field of manufacturing large-capacity packaging intended for transport by suitable lifting means, these packages being in the form of kit elements which must be ensured mounting.

We already know packaging of this type and constituted, for example, by a pallet on which comes to be placed a box, in particular of cardboard.

In fact, such a crate is generally foldable in nature and is usually stored in folded form pending to be unfolded and positioned on a pallet, especially in view of its filling.

In this regard, it will be noted that such a folded box is often delivered and stored with other cases independently of the palette that it is intended to complete, this palette being, itself, usually delivered and stored with others pallets. As a result, the number of cases is not always in line with the number of pallets to be fitted with so there arises a stock management problem of a overabundant quantity of pallets or cases.

It will also be observed that the filling of such packaging is not always carried out, either immediately after said body has been unfolded and positioned on the pallet in order to define a pallet box arrangement, either on the site itself mounting such a device. It is then advisable to move such a pallet box device, which is done, generally, manually.

A first solution consists in exerting an action on said pallet for dragging and / or pushing said device to its place of filling or temporary storage. Such an action requires an operator to bend down and adopt a uncomfortable, tiring position, unsuitable for providing significant effort and, above all, likely to cause injury.

One solution is, then, to fix said box on the pallet, in particular by stapling, and to exert an action on this box to move the entire device. Such a practice has a number of substantial disadvantages, in particular, in that such an action causes deformations, or even damage, of the cardboard box which is not not acceptable.

In addition, it should be noted that such pallet boxes are generally delivered in kit form the user. The latter then ensures the mounting of this device before filling the box and shipping it. Arrival at destination, said box is emptied and the system is generally redirected to its recipient for a new one filling. It is obvious that the fixing of such a box on said pallet makes such a device unsuitable for use as packaging for commuting between a supplier and a customer.

The object of the present invention is to remedy the disadvantages of the prior art devices.

Another object of the invention is to propose a device for pallet box delivered as a kit, in particular individually, and occupying a minimum volume.

In fact, such means of pre-positioning and / or pre-centering are defined, on the one hand, by the plate of the second element and, on the other hand, by the framework defined by said flaps.

An additional feature is that said device comprises means for positioning and / or centering of the first element in the unfolded position on the pallet.

Such positioning and / or centering means are defined, on the one hand, by the third element and, on the other hand, by the side walls of the body with which said third element is intended to cooperate in the unfolded position.

According to another characteristic of the invention, said plate of the second element is arranged above said pallet and is made in solidarity with the latter.

Yet another feature is that the third element is placed over said plate and its strip longitudinal is made integral with said pallet.

An additional feature concerns the fact that the plate of the second element is made integral with said pallet by through the joining of the third element of the palette.

According to another characteristic, the plate of the second element has dimensions such as the frame, defined by flaps of the first unfolded element, is designed capable of coming position at a certain distance or near said plate.

In addition, said plate has a corresponding thickness substantially to that of said flaps.

An additional feature is that at least one flap extending a side wall has a cutout, formed at the edge of this flap, and located at a certain distance of the articulation line of this flap from the side wall that it extends.

In fact, said cutout of the flap has a width at least equal to that of the longitudinal strip that the third element.

According to another characteristic, the third element comprises means, associated with said components, and capable of maintaining this third element in the folded position, especially so temporary.

An additional feature concerns the fact that the third element has sides which, in the unfolded position of this element, adjoin a side wall, at least one on these sides having a notch extending on either side and other of said longitudinal strip.

Finally, the pallet box system is completed by a lid.

The advantages of the present invention are that said pallet box device is in the form a kit comprising said pallet on which are arranged, especially in the folded state, the first, the second and the third element, even the cover. Such a kit device is intended to be delivered, or even stored, as is.

After delivery and before filling, the said device pallet box is mounted.

Another advantage is that such a device can be delivered individually and no longer requires delivery, independently, of a batch of pallets, a batch of cases, or even still a lot of covers for such cases.

The particularly clever design of this device authorizes one person to assemble this device and either by two operators like the state devices of the technique.

The present invention relates to the field of manufacturing packaging to contain and transport goods.

As can be seen in the figures in the accompanying drawings, such packaging consists of a pallet box device 1 which, as its name suggests, is defined, on the one hand, by a body 2 comprising side walls 3, 3 'and a bottom 4, a such box 2 can be completed by a cover 5, in particular of removable type.

Such a box 2 is, in particular and at least in part, defined of cardboard or the like, and is generally present in a at least partially folded shape that should be unfolded to constitute a box 2 capable of containing goods.

Such a pallet box device 1 is defined, on the other hand, by a pallet 6 over which is placed said box 2.

According to the invention, this box 2 comprises a first element 7 foldable at the level of which are defined, on the one hand, said side walls 3, 3 'of the body 2 and, on the other hand, flaps 8, 8 'extending said side walls 3, 3'. These flaps 8, 8 'are designed suitable, in the unfolded position of the body 2 and said first element 7, to be folded inwards of this first element 7 so as to define a frame 9 intended to rest on the pallet 6.

Such a first element 7 is, generally, made of cardboard or similar and can be defined as a single part or in several parts (for example two) that should be assembled. Such embodiment (two pieces) has been shown in Figure 3 corresponding to one half of such a first element 7.

In fact, such a first element 7 comprises a succession of panels 10, 11 articulated and capable of defining the walls side 3, 3 'of said body 2.

In this regard, it will be observed that a preferred embodiment of the invention consists of using a first element 7 designed able to be folded like a so-called "American" box. Such an embodiment allows the realization of a first element 7 whose dimensions, in the folded state (as visible Figure 2), do not exceed those of pallet 6 so that this first element 7 can be placed on the latter 6 without exceed in relation to it.

Such a first element 7 then comprises at least one panel 10 able to define a side wall 3 constituting a long side of a case 2.

This first element 7 comprises, again, at least one other panel 11 able to define a side wall 3 'constituting a small side of this box 2.

In this regard, it should be noted that, in the case of a first element 7 foldable like a box "American", the panel 11, defining the side wall 3 ' on one side of this box 2, is defined by two flaps 12, 12 'articulated.

As shown in Figures 2, 3 and 5, the side walls 3, 3 'are extended by flaps 8, 8'.

A preferred embodiment consists in conferring on said flaps 8, 8 'a shape such that, when unfolding the first element 7 and the folding of the flaps 8, 8 ', the latter 8, 8' come to define a frame 9 whose sides are juxtaposed without overlap.

Such a goal can be achieved by ensuring a 45 ° cutting of these flaps 8, 8 ′ as visible in FIG. 3.

Another characteristic of these flaps 8, 8 ′ is that at least one flap 8 ', extending the panel 11 defining a side wall 3 'intended to define a small side of the box 2, has a cutout 13. The latter 13 is provided at the edge of said flap 8 'and has a depth such that said cut 13 is located at a certain distance from the line articulation 14 of this flap 8 'relative to the panel 11 of the side wall 3 'which it extends.

Maintaining a certain distance between this cut 13 and the articulation line 14 makes it possible to contribute to the rigidity of the body 2 by strengthening the resistance to deformation of the first element 7.

According to another characteristic of the invention, this box 2 has a second element 15 defined by an attached plate 16 on said pallet 6 and intended to be made integral with this last 6. It is, more particularly, around this plate 16 that comes to position the frame 9 defined by said flaps 8, 8 '.

In this regard, it will be observed that this plate 16 has a corresponding thickness, substantially (or even preferably being equal), to that of the flaps 8, 8 '. Such an embodiment defines a substantially flat surface on top which goods can be disposed of without undergoing inclination detrimental to proper and stable stacking such goods.

As mentioned above, the frame 9 defined by the flaps 8, 8 ' is positioned around said plate 16. In fact, this last 16 is designed so that its dimensions avoid, on the one hand, an overlap between it 16 and the flaps 8, 8 'so as to define such a flat surface and, on the other hand, too great a spacing between said plate 16 and said flaps 8, 8 'so as to avoid holes at the level of this flat surface. Thus, this plate 16 has dimensions such that said frame 9 is positioned at a certain distance (preferably small) or close to this plate 16.

It will be observed that this plate 16 can, moreover, constitute pre-positioning means and / or means for pre-centering the first element 7 on the pallet 6.

According to another characteristic of the invention, said box 2 has a third foldable element 17, arranged above said plate 16 and intended to be made integral with the pallet 6. This third element 17 is designed capable of constituting, in unfolded position, the bottom 4 of this box 2.

This third foldable element 17 comprises, on the one hand, a strip longitudinal 18, centered with respect to this third element 17, and intended to extend substantially parallel to the long side of the body 2.

It is, more particularly, at the level of this band longitudinal 18 that said third element 17 is rendered secured to said pallet 6, this by means of securing means 23, in particular staples or similar.

According to a particular embodiment, said plate 16 thus that said longitudinal strip 18 are each rendered individually attached to said pallet 6.

However and according to a preferred embodiment, it is in making the third element 17 integral with the pallet 6 that the plate 16 (arranged above said pallet 6 and under this third element 17) is made integral with said pallet 6.

This third foldable element 17 comprises, on the other hand, two flaps 19, 19 'articulated on said longitudinal strip 18 and bordering the latter 18 on either side and so longitudinal.

These flaps 19, 19 ′ are designed capable of being folded down, one in 19 direction of the other 19 ', in a direction indicated by arrows Figure 4, and so that said third element 17 adopts a shape, substantially "U" or triangle.

In this regard, it will be observed that said third element 17 can, advantageously, be supplemented by means 20 (associated with flaps 19, 19 ') able to hold said third element 17 in this configuration in “U” or in triangle, in particular of temporarily and for the duration of the implementation of said first element 7 on the pallet 6.

Such holding means 20 can be constituted by at minus a defined tongue or the like, in particular by cutting, at at least one of the flaps 19, 19 'and intended to cooperate with the other flap 19 ′, 19.

However and according to a preferred embodiment, these means of holding 20 are constituted by at least one tongue or analog defined (in particular by cutting) at the level of each said flaps 19, 19 '; a tab of one 19 of these flaps being designed capable of cooperating with a tongue of the other flap 19.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the cut 13 of the flap 8 'has a width at least equal (preferably substantially adjusted) to that of the longitudinal strip 18 of said third element 17 so as to allow, when setting place of the first element 7 on the pallet 6, a passage of this cut-out 13 at the edge of said third element 17 configured in "U" or triangle.

Another feature is that said third element 17 has a notch 21 extending on either side and other of said longitudinal strip 18, this at the level of sides 22 of said third element 17 intended to adjoin a wall side 3 'constituting a small side of the body 2.

Such a notch 21 is intended to authorize a passage, at level of the edge of said third element 17 configured in "U" or triangle, flaps 8 'in position at least partially folded down, this during the installation of said first element 7 on the pallet 6 and when these flaps 8 ' arrive near said longitudinal strip 18.

In this regard, it will be observed that the depth of this notch 21 and the depth of the cut 13 are designed so as to preferably allow such passage without causing deformation of the body 2.

A preferred embodiment is, in fact, to define these depths to allow partial engagement of the flap 8 'under the longitudinal strip 18 (between the latter 18 and said pallet 6), this at the bottom of said cutout 13.

As shown in Figure 5, said flaps 19, 19 'are designed able to be deployed according to the arrows so as to come cover the plate 16 and the frame 9 of the flaps 8, 8 ', this in view to define the bottom 4 of the body 2.

These flaps 19, 19 'are, again, designed capable of taking substantially supported on the internal side of the side walls 3, 3 'of the body 2 so as to ensure centering and positioning of said first element 7 on the pallet 6.

Thus, the third element 17 constitutes, in combination with said side walls 3, 3 ', positioning means and / or means for centering said first element 7 (as well as from the box 2) on the pallet 6.

The first 7 and / or the second 15 and / or the third 17 element are defined in a pliable material more particularly of cardboard or the like.

According to another characteristic, the present invention relates to, again, a kit pallet box device 1 defined by a pallet 6 and by a box 2 of the unfoldable type, in particular in cardboard or the like, arranged at least in part in the form folded over said pallet 6 and which, in unfolded form, has the side walls 3, 3 'and the bottom 4.

Such a box 2 is constituted by said first element 7 of unfoldable type, arranged folded over the pallet 6, and at which the panels 10 are defined; 11 as well that the flaps 8, 8 'extending the latter 10; 11. The said panels 10; 11 and said flaps 8, 8 ′ are intended to define, in the unfolded position of said first element 7, respectively, the side walls 3; 3 'from box 2 and the frame 9 intended to rest on the pallet 6;

This box 2 is, again, constituted by said second element 15 defined by plate 16, arranged over said pallet 6, intended to be made integral with the latter 6, and around which 16 is intended to be positioned the frame 9 defined by said flaps 8, 8 'of said first element 7 in the unfolded position.

Said case 2 is, moreover, constituted by the third element 17 of the foldable type, placed over said pallet 6, intended to be made integral with the latter 6, and comprising the longitudinal strip 18 bordered, so longitudinal, by two articulated flaps 19, 19 ', this third element 17 being intended to constitute, in the unfolded position, the bottom 4 of the body 2.

In this regard, it will be observed that said kit is, in fact, defined by said pallet 6 on which said first 7 are arranged, said second 15 and said third 17 element, even said cover 5. The latter 5 can, in fact, be designed to be disposed above said elements 7, 15 and 17, or even be designed capable of styling, at least in part, said palette 6.

A preferred embodiment consists in placing on said pallet 6 said plate 16 then, over the latter 16, said third element 17. The latter 17 may also be made integral with said pallet 6 which also makes it possible to make said plate 16 integral with this pallet 6 (Figure 4).

Regarding the production of a pallet box device 1 from such a kit, it will be observed that it is suitable, everything first, to unfold the first element 7 and the folding of the flaps 19, 19 ′ of the third element 17, the latter 17 being kept in the folded position through means of maintenance 20.

Said first element 7 unfolded is then engaged over said third element 17.

The flaps 8 '(extending the panels 11 defining the short sides of the body 2) are then folded down at least partially to then ensure engagement, either in a way substantially simultaneous or not (mounting of device 1 by at minus two operators), either successively (mounting the device by a single operator) flaps 8 'under the band longitudinal 18.

It is then ensured a pre-positioning and / or a pre-centering of said first element 7 relative to said plate 16 (or even with respect to said pallet 6), this through of the frame 9 (formed by the flaps 8, 8 ') and of the plate 16.

It is subsequently ensured a deployment of the flaps 19, 19 ' (Figure 5) in order to cover said plate 16 and said frame 9, this in order to constitute the bottom 4 of the body 2. At Through this deployment, support is provided for these flaps 19, 19 ′ on the internal side of the side walls 3, 3 'which ensures proper positioning and / or centering of the first element 7 on the pallet 6.

It is then possible to fill the box 2 or to provisional storage of said device 1 in particular after its cover with cover 5.

Reverse operations allow (especially after emptying the body) to dismantle the pallet box device 1 for the return in the form of a kit, in particular for the purpose of storage or shipping.
