Foldable headrest for sleeping unit, characterized in that it comprises: - a plate (1) of headrest, - at least one fixing device (2) removable from the headrest to the sleeping unit, - at least one device articulated connection (3) of the plate (1) to the fixing device (2), comprising at least one articulation pivot (33), at least one first articulation branch (31) secured on the one hand to the pivot of articulation to be able to pivot around the axis of this pivot and on the other hand to the faceplate, and at least one second articulation branch (32) secured on the one hand to the articulation pivot and on the other hand to the removable fixing device, and braking means (34) to keep the first (s) and second (s) branches stationary relative to each other in the absence of force exerted on at least one of them, - at least one stop device (4) to prevent any additional pivoting of the first bra articulation channel (31) relative to the second articulation branch (32) beyond a predetermined angle between the articulation branches.

2. Headrest according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a plate (1) of headrest, and at least two sets each consisting of a fixing device (2), an articulated connection device (3) and a device stop (4).

3. headrest according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the plate (1) of the headrest comprises at least one cutout for at least partially housing an assembly constituted by a fixing device (2), a device for articulated connection (3) and a stop device (4).

4. Headrest according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the fixing device (2) comprises a bracket (21) and a stirrup (22) removably attached to this bracket.

5. Headrest according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises first articulation branches

(31) secured on the one hand to the articulation pivot (33) and on the other hand to the faceplate (1), second articulation branches (32) secured on the one hand to the articulation pivot ( 33) and on the other hand to the fixing device (2), and the articulation pivot (33) is threaded in the articulation branches (31, 32), the ends of the first (31) and of the second (32 ) articulation branches succeeding each other alternately along the articulation pivot.

6. Headrest according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that braking means constituted by friction elements (34) are inserted between the articulation branches (31,32), around the pivot articulation (33).

7. headrest according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the stop device (4) comprises stop plates (41,42), one of which is secured to the fixing device (2) and a another is secured to the first articulation branches (31), provided with abutment edges (411,421) adapted to come into contact for a predetermined angle of the first articulation branch (31) relative to the second articulation branch ( 32) close to 180 degrees.

8. Headrest according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the first articulation branch (31) is secured to the plate (1) by means of a bracket fitting (35).

Sleeping furniture comprising at least one bed base provided with a frame and a headrest according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the headrest is removable and comprises a plate (1) of headrest movable between a position folded in which it is approximately parallel to a head part of the chassis and a deployed position in which it is approximately perpendicular to this head part.

10. Sleeping furniture according to claim 9, the base of which is provided with a frame of which a head part comprises at least one head cross member, characterized in that the removable headrest comprises at least one fixing device (2) for fix it to the chassis, this device being

provided with a stirrup (22) enclosing the cross member bypassing it from inside the chassis and a bracket applied against an external face of the cross member.
