Abstract

The device for packaging plants or floral arrangements or cut flowers in a bouquet or individually comprises a film (1) of synthetic material. This film (1) has in the direction of its length: - a main opaque strip (2) extending over the entire length of the film (1) and over a width varying between one third and two thirds of the width of the film ( 1) from one of the longitudinal edges (5) of the film (1), - a secondary opaque strip (3) extending over the entire length of the film (1) and over a width varying between zero and at most one third the width of the film (1) from the other longitudinal edge (6) of the film (1), - a transparent strip (4) extending over the entire length of the film (1), between the main opaque strip (2) ) and the secondary opaque band (3).

Description

The present invention relates to a packaging device for the

  presentation of objects, especially plants, floral arrangements or

  flowers cut in a bouquet or individually.

  Plant packaging devices can take many forms. Document US 5,106,662 shows a device in the form of a blank of cardboard material in which an opening

triangular is provided.

  The blank of cardboard material is provided with grooves, according to which the blank can be folded to form a container, in which a

  predetermined number of plants or flowers can be introduced.

  The window allows you to see the flowering part of the plants or flowers. This device, which has the advantage of highlighting the part

  flowering plant, has many disadvantages.

  On the one hand, this device can only accommodate a predetermined number of plants. A florist would therefore be obliged to store devices of this type of several dimensions, to package floral compositions of different sizes, which is a major drawback for a device which is, moreover, expensive because of its relative complexity. On the other hand, this device allows only a restricted vision of

  the flowering part of the flower arrangement.

  Finally, florists have a habit of packaging the floral compositions they make, using a film of synthetic material. An object of the invention is to propose a device for packaging objects, in particular plants or floral compositions of one or more cut flowers, comprising a film of synthetic material, and which allows

  the development of a significant part of these.

  According to the invention, the packaging film has, in the direction of its length: - a main opaque strip extending over the entire length of the film and over a width varying between one third and two thirds of the width of the film from one of the longitudinal edges of the film, - a secondary opaque strip extending over the entire length of the film and over a width varying between zero and at most one third of the width of the film from the other longitudinal edge of the film, - a transparent strip extending over the entire length of the film, between the main opaque strip and the secondary opaque strip. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention - the main opaque strip extending over the entire length of the film and over more than half the width of the film from one of the longitudinal edges of the film, - the opaque strip secondary extending over the entire length of the film and a maximum of a quarter of the width of the film from the other longitudinal edge of the film, - the transparent strip extending over the entire length of the film, between the main opaque strip and the secondary opaque band. This film makes it possible to produce a packaging of a floral composition or a plant, the flowering part of which is visible thanks to the transparent strip and is therefore enhanced, while the peduncle part, which is aesthetically less pleasing to the eye, is masked by the main opaque band.   According to a preferred characteristic of the invention, the main opaque strip and the secondary opaque strip are produced by printing. According to another characteristic, the transparent strip is obtained by demetallization of a film previously metallized over the whole

  Advantageously, the use of the device comprises the steps consisting in: - unrolling a portion of the packaging device of a length corresponding, at least, to the circumference of a floral composition, - cutting said portion, - placing the floral composition on this portion, the flowering part being opposite the transparent band and the peduncle part being opposite the main opaque band, - closing the film portion on itself,

around the floral arrangement.

  This use of the film makes it possible to produce a packaging highlighting a plant, a floral composition or bouquets of cut flowers without, provided that the florist does not modify the working methods to which he is accustomed, namely the packaging of compositions.

  In addition, the unwinding and cutting of a more or less long portion of film depending on the size of the bouquet, avoids the drawbacks of the devices of the prior art. These are, in fact, only suitable for a particular size of plant or floral composition and therefore oblige florists to manage stocks of devices of different sizes or to offer this type of device for a single type of

flower arrangements.

  As can be seen in FIG. 1, the device comprises a film 1, which can be a polypropylene film with a thickness of 30 to 40 μm. The film 1 has, in the direction of its length, a main opaque strip 2 and a secondary opaque strip 3 obtained by printing, framing a

transparent strip 4.

  The main opaque strip 2 extends over the entire length of the film, and over substantially two thirds of the width of the film from one of

its longitudinal edges 5.

  The secondary opaque strip 3 extends over the entire length of the film, and over substantially a quarter of the width of the film from the other edge

  Each of the opaque bands 2,3 is obtained by printing.

  The implementation of the packaging device is carried out from the

  After having made a floral composition 7, a florist unrolls a portion of the packaging device of length corresponding at least to the circumference of said floral composition 7, then cuts this portion. The florist then deposits the floral composition 7 on the portion of the packaging device, ensuring that the flowering part 8 of the composition 7 is opposite the transparent strip 4 and that the part

  peduncle 9 is opposite the main opaque strip 2.

  The florist then proceeds to close the film portion around itself, around the floral composition 5 using staples or / and

ribbons.

  As shown in FIG. 3, the floral composition, thus conditioned, reveals its flowering part 8 through the transparent strip 4, while its peduncle part 9 is masked by the

main opaque strip 3.

  The invention thus provides a device for packaging plants or floral compositions which makes it possible to remedy the drawbacks of

prior art devices.

  It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above, by way of example, but that on the contrary it embraces all the variant embodiments. Thus, the transparent strip, making it possible to visualize a part of the conditioned object, could be translucent or slightly tinted; the opaque bands or the transparent band could present fancy impressions; The packaged item could be a bottle or a bottle of perfume or any other item intended to be offered; the device could be implemented so that the transparent strip takes the form of a helix around
