La cheville (1) d'ancrage comprend d'une manière connue sur une partie de sa longueur une fente (la) longitudinale définissant deux lèvres (lb) semi-cylindriques et maintenues entre elles par une pluralité de points de saillies (1c) détachables lors de l'introduction de l'élément de vissage. La cheville présente dans la zone des lèvres des languettes (1 d) débordant en saillie et qui viennent s'ancrer dans la ou les parois correspondantes traversées du parpaing ou brique. Le fût <B>(If)</B> de la cheville défini entre la tête<B>(l</B>e) et les lèvres (1 b) est lisse. Le problème posé est le suivant. Lorsqu'après perçage des trous (2a-2b) dans les parois correspondantes des parpaings (2) on positionne la cheville précitée, on constate très souvent une tenue peu stable de la cheville d'ancrage dans la première paroi réceptrice du fût. D'autre part, l'insertion de la cheville à force a tendance à provoquer un élargissement de l'ouverture considérée accentuant ainsi le phénomène de débattement angulaire de la cheville. La fixation obtenue est ainsi peu sécurisante. Il arrive ainsi que la fixation réalisée puisse à la longue se détacher et que le panneau prenne du jeu entraînant des inconvénients sur la planéité de la façade en question.
