Abstract

A floating board, designed to support the upper part of the body of a person in the water, has a transparent window for underwater viewing. The window is made from two layers of plexiglass with the gap between them filled with fresh water through a filling hole with a stopper. The remainder of the board is hollow, with a stoppered hole for removing any water that seeps in. It also has two grab handles at the front and a carrying handle at the rear, and can be fitted with a detachable sunshade.

Description

The present invention relates to a floating board provided with a transparent porthole allowing underwater vision.

This board includes a floating hull which allows to support the human body in a horizontal position and equipped with a porthole of underwater vision in plexiglass and a sun visor protecting the upper part of the body from head to waist, from rays solar. Only the lower limbs with non-flippers are submerged.

The ergonomically shaped board is designed for user comfort in a horizontal position. The support is provided by two projections at the front of the shell, the position of the wrists being less tiring for the user.

The partly hollow hull which allows better buoyancy. A drain plug is provided in the event of water infiltration.

The underwater viewing window is composed of two transparent plexiglass surfaces, superimposed and spaced by a vacuum filled with fresh water by an orifice placed at the front of the board and blocked by a plug to prevent the formation of fogging due to the differences in water temperature and, the other advantage of this pocket of water is that weight in liquid stabilizes the mass ratio and thus allows to always have a perfect vision of the funds visited, the low window being permanently submerged and the high window outside four corners of the board, there are cavities for the installation of four rods for fixing the removable sun visor provided with a rectangular tarpaulin in traditional printed fabric (polynesian fabric ).

In order to be able to easily transport this device, a carrying handle materialized by a projection in the hull, is located at the rear near the porthole. (drawing board 7/7) The appended drawings illustrate the invention. Figure 1_ represents a top and bottom view of the shell showing the position of the drain plug of the transparent plexiglass porthole.

The figure represents a B / B section of the board with the filling opening for fresh water, the double glazing of the porthole and its water volume, the air volume, the drain plug and the position of the screen. removable sun.

FIG. 3, @ represents a section A / A showing the projections serving as holding handles, the volumes of water and air as well as the sun visor. FIG. 4 represents the front face with the grab handles and the sun visor and the rear face with the carrying handle and the removable sun visor.

Figure 5.-. represents a left side view with sketch of a user showing lower limbs free to steer the device.

Figure 6 shows a top view with the ideal position of the user, holding handles.

FIG. 7 represents a user carrying a board by the carrying handle molded in the shell.

This nautical leisure device will have dimensions of the order of 110 cm for the length and 100 cm for the width.
