1 - Clip (1), in particular hair clip, comprising - two clip elements (2) pivotally mounted relative to each other, each of these clip elements (2) comprising a part (4) suitable for grip the hair and an operating part (7), as well as two legs (10, 12) intended to be pivotally connected to the two legs (12, 10) of the other clamp element (2) to carry out the assembly pivoting of the two clamp elements (2), and - a spring-forming part (3), bearing against each of the two clamp elements (2), at the level of the operating parts (7) thereof, to pivot these two clamp elements (2) towards the closed position of the clamp (1); clamp (1) characterized in that - each tab (10, 12) of a clamp element (2) is connected only to the adjacent tab (12, 10) of the other clamp element (2), so that the two tabs (10) located inside the other two tabs (12) define between them a free space; - The spring-forming part (3) is constituted by an elongated block of flexible material, the central part of which is engaged in said space and can move therein, during the pivoting of the clamp elements (2), in a direction perpendicular to the axis along which this pivoting takes place, and the ends of which are fixed to the operating parts (7) of the

elements (2).

2 - Pliers according to claim 1, characterized in that the spring-forming part (3) has a relatively thick central part

and tapered end portions.

3 - Pliers according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that one of the adjacent tabs (10) of the clamp elements (2) comprises a pin (11) while the other tab (12) comprises a hole (1 3) receiving this pivot pin (11) and in that said spring-forming part (3) has a width such that it is adjusted to the distance separating the two tabs (10) located inside the two other

legs (12).

4- Pliers according to claim 3, characterized in that the two legs (10) of a clamp element (2) comprise the pins (11) while the two legs (12) of the other clamp element (2 )

include the holes (13).

5 - Pliers according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that each clamp element (2) comprises a boss (15) defining

a stop face (1 5a) parallel to the pivot axis of the clamp elements (2) and includes a cavity located at the foot of this face (15a), while

that each end of the spring piece (3) comprises an end face capable of bearing against said stop face (15a) and a stud (20) capable of being engaged in said cavity.
