Abstract

A device has an embossing tool and a threading tool. The embosser has a round or parallelepiped shaped open gutter with a first needle and two further needles on which the threader can slide. The threading tool has a cylinder whose opposite ends are rounded and flat with three longitudinal holes. Threads are stored in the cylinder. The holes in the cylinder may receive simultaneously the three needles so the cylinder slides easily on them.

Description

-1- This patent application is a supplement concerning the

  previous patent application which was filed on October 1, 1998, whose certificate of admissibility was given on October 15, 1998 under the number 98/12508. The INPI gave authorization for disclosure and exploitation dated October 21, 1998 after having consulted and taken notice of non-opposition from the Minister of Defense. However, the investigation is still ongoing to this day. (highlighted copy attached, for items

unchanged and used).

  The complement presented does not change the technical field of the invention

  initial of which the claims are unchanged, but makes slight modifications

  presentation of tools without fundamentally calling into question the processes and purposes. (It is surely desirable to take note of the previous deposit so that certain unmodified parts can be known, in particular as regards

concerns the embosser).

  Simply put, the tools have been redesigned for less complexity, greater ease of operation and improved timeliness of the sausages. It should be specified that these variants are possibilities that can be applied in whole or in part, associated or not with the elements of the previous filing, depending on the designs and choice of

operator's work.

  It is, in short, a range of tools for developing andouille sausages of the type

  concerned, which emerges from the two patent applications filed.

  Regarding the embosser it has changed nothing in its design except that

  FIG I the gutter can take a parallelepiped shape open on one side (1).

  We will ensure that all edges are rounded and the edges perfectly smooth

  to avoid tearing or cutting the hoses.

  On this gutter (1) and below, we will weld two rods (2) which will be used to support the threader of new shape and will allow it a back and forth movement without obligation to take it out for the threading of each hose . The straightness rod (3) also acting as an air duct (4) will be limited in thickness on two diametrically opposite faces so as to create an eye (5) which will not, moreover, prevent compressed air (4) to pass. The end of said rod (3) will be

closed and finished in needle.

  -2- The eye (5) will allow for the case where one would like to make a heart of andouille made up of a hose in which one will have pushed (using a pusher: perfectly known material) of the cut hoses, d 'attach this fragile heart, to a string that will pass through the eye, so as to be able to retain it, during the extraction of the finished andouille, thus preventing it from remaining in the gutter. This last way of doing things does not call into question the quality of the andouille as described during the

previous invention.

  Dimensions - Linkage lengths all given from the end of the gutter (1), or protruding parts: * Straightness rod (3) 60 to 80 millimeters * Chas (5) on straightness rod (3) 40 to 70 millimeters * Rods full (2) threader support 200 mm

  - The gutter (1) melts 30 millimeters rated 25 millimeters.

  Regarding the threader, it is of a very simplified new design, of ultra fast use and as good efficiency as that presented in the

  previous invention. Presentation FIG 2.

  It consists of a teflon cylinder (6) whose end will be rounded (7), the other end (8) will be flat. Note a slight bulge (9) which is not compulsory but desirable for good sliding behavior of the hose to be threaded. In its center, a longitudinal hole (10) will be drilled allowing the straightness rod (3) to enter. Obliquely we will drill air ducts (I 1) 2 to 4 allowing the passage of air

  compressed (4) coming from the straightness rod (3) and passing through the eye (5).

  The air will allow a widening of the diameter of the hose in case of difficulty of passage.

  Longitudinally, two holes (12) will also be drilled to the diameter of the threader support rods (2). Finally we will subject in the mass and arranged on the flat end (8) of

  the six needle threader (13) according to FIG 2 (end view).

  * Needle length (13) 4 cm diameter at the base 0.2 cm, sharp points.

OPERATION

  The operator practices in the following way: * Takes open boilers (as said in the previous patent application) or a hose filled with the cut hoses pusher and places them in the

gutter (l).

  * Takes the straightness rod (3) secures it as said in the previous patent application and places it on the heart. If it is a gut filled it will have been

  previously secured a string whose other end will be passed through the eye (5).

  * Take the threader and push it both into the straightness rod (3) and the threader support rods (2) until it stops against the end of the gutter (1). * Take a hose and thread it, in an accordion, on the body (6) of the threader then grab it and pull it so that it comes to cover the heart and the gutter (1). It stops traction when it remains on the threader about 8 to 10

  cm of hose (a marker may appear on the threader body (6).

  * Grasp the threader and slide it back onto the supports (2) until the hose remaining on the threader falls by itself and the tip of the straightness rod (3) appears, this the latter is also covered, and in particular

its tip, by the hanging hose.

  * The operator then brings the threader back towards the gutter (1) quite strongly. By doing the point of the straightness rod pierces the drop of the hose, the needles of the threader do the same. The hose is then stowed, it is enough to finish threading it, it will no longer be able to slide further than necessary and sufficient -4- * Note that after this operation the threader is in position to

  threading the next hose, and so on to the balloon.

NOTE I

  It will be noted that with each hose threaded the needles are plugged not only on the last but also on all those threaded previously; which prevents the hoses from sliding over each other and consequently eliminates the risk of destroying the andouille

under construction.

  * The balloon posed as one does for a hose, the operator proceeds to extract the finished andouille in the same way (including the variants) as that exposed in the previous patent application. Only one change for the case where we would have used a gut core. It would then be necessary to recover the string introduced into the eye and hold it at the same time as extracting the andouille. You should know for this that the finished andouille and the threader removed, the eye is visible, therefore the recoverable string. This string will

  torn off after cooking without causing any damage to the finished product.

NOTE 2

  The extraction of the finished andouille causes a total loosening of the needles and the straightness rod. The hanging ends, held until then by this set of needles, are completely released under the bladder which contains them. They therefore tend to spread out and regain their shape. But as they are threaded concentrically, they will spread concentrically, thus avoiding any hose superimposed at the end and thereby giving a real andouille of the type concerned

to the level of the balloon.

  To obtain this result, you should not over tighten the balloon on the end of the andouille so that there remains the place of the spreading of the hoses. We can even help them: it's the little finishing touch, the know-how in addition,

for even better quality.

Claims (5)

  I 1 i) Device for manufacturing antlers, the peculiarity of which is to consist of cylindrical casings threaded on top of each other, characterized by two tools, one embosser, the other threader, which cannot be used effectively one without the other.   - The embosser (fixed on a frame) is characterized by an open gutter (I) round or parallelepiped, a straightness rod (3) full or hollow and   two slide rods (2) threader supports.   - The threader is characterized by a Teflon cylinder (6), round at one end (7) and flat at the other (8), where needles (13) are inserted, and drilled with 3   longitudinal housings (10) and (12).   2) threading support device according to claim 1), characterized by   the addition of two rods (2) welded under the gutter (1) of the embosser.   These two rods (2) support the threader (6) and allow it to move   longitudinal back and forth by simple sliding.   3) Device according to claim 1) threading hoses before embossing and complementary to claim 2) and adaptation to the latter, characterized by housings (10) and (12) drilled longitudinally in the cylinder in   Teflon (6) of the threader and intended to receive simultaneously.   - Housing (12) rods (2) threader support and acting as slides.   - Housing (10) the straightness rod (3) of the embosser.   4) device for holding the heart in place and for attaching the seamless casings according to claim I1) and in addition, characterized by an eye (5) pierced in the straightness rod (3) of the embosser allowing the passage of a -6- I1 twine which, in addition to holding and hanging, allows the extraction of the finished andouille by simple traction. This eye (5) also allows the passage of compressed air if necessary, the straightness rod (3) must then take the form   of a tube whose internal diameter is small.   5) Device according to claim 1) and complementary to claim 4) for hooking the hoses, characterized by six needles (13) arranged in a crown on the flat face (9) of the threader, the object of which is to reinforce the hooking of the hoses, and thus preventing them from sliding on each other, further than necessary and useful, during the construction of   andouille, thus avoiding the destruction of the work already accomplished.
