BOX FOR PARTICULARLY PACKAGING PRODUCTS

FOOD

  The invention relates to a box intended in particular for packaging products

  food. In the following description, the box of the invention is more

  particularly described in relation to the packaging of pastries, especially

  cakes. However, the box of the invention applies to any type of product.

  The packaging boxes currently offered have standard shapes and sizes corresponding to specific cake sizes. These packages therefore oblige the pastry chef to make cakes of suitable shape without possible modification. If, however, the pastry chef wishes to prepare cakes of unconventional size, he must have specific packaging, produced on demand, thus increasing the cost of

production and storage.

  Therefore, the problem that the invention proposes to solve is to provide packaging, the dimensions of which can be easily adapted according to the

  volume of food intended to be incorporated.

  To do this, the invention provides a box intended in particular for the packaging of

  food products, comprising a bottom, a cover and a side wall.

  This box is characterized in that: ò the bottom and the cover are of identical shape and size, and are extended at their periphery by a border; the wall is in the form of a belt, the length of which is substantially equal to that of the perimeter of the cover and the bottom, the belt is held vertically between the cover and the bottom, the edge of the bottom and of the cover being folded along of the wall prohibiting

  any lateral movement of said wall.

  The originality of this box is therefore to be made up of three elements, respectively a bottom, a wall and a cover, which cooperate with each other by simple contact, without irreversible fixing. Consequently, the box is perfectly removable so that the surface and the shape of the bottom and of the lid, as well as the

  width of the belt, can be adapted according to the volume of the cake.

  According to a first characteristic, the belt is in the form of a rectangular strip provided with at least two notches formed near the opposite ends of the strip, on either side of its long sides, said notches being intended to cooperate between them to form a belt. Of course, the number of notches is not limited, so that the user

  may adjust the perimeter of its packaging.

  Therefore, this concept penmnet to reduce the number of boxes to store since it can for example adapt on the same background, walls of different heights or adapt the same wall on funds of different sizes. In other words, the pastry chef will be able to use a maximum of boxes from a minimum of pieces.   of the bottom, or on its thickness if this is sufficient.

  In a second embodiment, the edge is obtained after hot stamping on the bottom or the cover, of a sheet of shape identical to that of said bottom and cover but of upper surface, the projecting part being

  folded in the direction of the bottom or cover, to form a border.

  In practice, the thicker the bottom, the more the contact surface and therefore the

  securing the border with the bottom will be important and the more rigid the border will be.

  In a third embodiment, to reinforce the rigidity of the border,

  the bottom or cover and the border are made in one piece by thermoforming.

  Of course, the shape of the border can vary while always having the objective of fulfilling a first function which is that of keeping the wall vertical.

  In Figure 1, there is shown a package according to the invention of cylindrical shape. As shown in this figure, this package consists of three independent and distinct elements, respectively a cover (1), a wall (2) and a

bottom (3).

  The manufacture of the cover or the bottom can be carried out in two different ways. s In a first embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the bottom (3) or cover (1), (FIG. 2a), is superimposed on a sheet (5), (FIG. 2b), of the same

  shape, but of larger diameter (Figure 2c).

  The sheet (5) is secured to the bottom (3) or cover (1)

  by gluing the sheet (5) on the surface and the thickness of the bottom (3) or cover (1).

  The gluing of the sheet on the thickness of the bottom or cover ensures the folding of

  In a second embodiment shown in Figure 3, cover and
