Abstract

The device comprises, in one form, an integrated handle (3) and fork assembly (2), with side holes (7) to accept the stretched cleaning elements, such as dental line or floss (4) and abrasive band (5). The device may also be arranged with a handle screwed (8) into interchangeable fork holders for each cleaning element. The device may also be arranged with two frames on either side of a central shaft attached to the handle (3). Additionally the handle may incorporate a pump (11) action to dispense cleaning material (12) to the cleaning element in contact with the teeth.

Description

- 1 - The present invention relates to a device for generating either: -

  polishing the teeth, - micro-sanding the surface condition of the teeth, - micro scaling, - attenuation of the bacterial plaque depositing on the teeth, - removal of tasks related to consumption

  tobacco, coffee, cola drinks etc.

  This invention comes in addition to our patent application number 98.03887 relating to the use of dental floss slipped in the slots of a notched fork, connected to a handle. Said device referenced above,

  allowing various tensions of a dental floss.

  Designed for dental surgeons but usable by the general public, it appears that the invention mentioned above, application number 98.03887 must be completed to generate the advantages described in presentation of

this description.

Claims (7)
