Abstract

The jewelry making device comprises a body with a matrix (1) which is screwed on a support (2). In the support is a press (3) locked by a copper wire pin (5). A guide system comprising a fin, screwed in a threaded hole (9), ensures the balancing of the device when it is dropped. A transmitter enables recovery of the device. Preferred Features: Metal is placed in a chamber (8) and the device is heated then released. On contact with the ground the copper wire breaks and releases the press which compresses the metal against the support anvil.

La forme de la chambre (repère 8) et celle du bout intérieur de la presse (repère 3) donne la forme du bijou que l'on désire obtenir. Le corps est chauffé, 1000 C pour l'or ou 900 C pour l'argent, puis lâché d'une altitude de 600 pieds sur un site choisi. L'ailette assure l'équilibre du dispositif durant sa chute afin, qu'au contact du sol, la presse (repère 3) brise le fil de cuivre (repère 5) et compresse le métal dans la chambre (repère 3) contre le talon du support (repère 2). La récupération du dispositif est possible grâce à l'émetteur (repère 7). Après dévissage du corps (repère 4), on obtient le bijou soudé. Pour le porter en pendentif, il suffira de fixer une attache du même métal, lesquels peuvent être sertie de pierres précieuses.
