Abstract

The ring (1) or pendant is provided with a recess (4), preferably cone-shaped (8), for the in insertion of the preferably pointed lower area of a precious stone (3), in particular a diamond. A metal bow (6) is guided across the stone (3) but kept at a distance in order to facilitate a slight motion of the stone (3). The light is reflected by varying areas dependent on the user moving his/her hands, creating a unique and attractive effect. There can also be versions with more than one stone (3) or with several bows (6).

Description

The invention relates to a piece of jewelry which has a holder for at least one stone, in which the stone is at least partially inserted into a recess of a base body of the piece of jewelry and in which at least one securing element for the stone in the region of the base body is arranged.

Legierungen.Such pieces of jewelry are known in different embodiments and can be realized for example as a ring, bangle, pendant, earring or parts of a necklace. The jewelry is typically made of a precious metal or precious metal alloy and holds gemstones in one or more versions. Other embodiments are made of steel, aluminum or other metals or alloys.

Object of the present invention is to construct a piece of jewelry of the aforementioned type such that improved possibilities for the presentation of the stones are provided.

This object is achieved in that the stone is movably disposed in the region of the base body and that the securing element has a distance from the stone.

Due to the movable arrangement of the stone in the region of the base body and the arrangement of the securing element with a distance from the stone, it is possible that the stone undergoes a change in position relative to the base body even at very low vibrations or other acting forces and thereby assumes a different orientation to the incident light , Especially for diamonds, a perfect blasting and brilliance in a variety of different nuances is supported.

The arrangement of the securing element with a distance from the stone allows on the one hand the changes in position of the stone relative to the base body, in addition, but also ensures a reliable movable support of the stone without conventional version. In addition, the securing element ensures that the stone slides back into its basic position after the end of the force and thereby again changes its position. With each movement of the person wearing the piece of jewelry, the movable arrangement of the stone in the region of the base body can cause relatively strongly varying reflections.

A high mobility of the stone is particularly supported by the fact that the depression tapers.

A rotational movement of the stone within the body is made possible by the fact that the depression tapers conically in the region of a depression.

A convenient design of the stone is that the stone tapers from a base.

In particular, it is thought that the stone tapers conically.

In order to promote good visibility of the stone while at the same time reliably positioning the stone in the region of the base body, it is proposed that the depression receive an end region of the taper of the stone.

A typical application is that the base body is formed substantially annular. Basically, however, a variety of other forms are feasible.

In support of an attractive external design, it is proposed that the recess is substantially rounded in an outer contour of the base body.

A good visibility of the stone is also supported by the fact that the recess is laterally open at least partially open.

A reliable support of the stone in the region of the body with a simultaneously appealing external appearance is achieved in that the securing element is formed like a bow.

Another essential variant is that two bow-shaped securing elements are arranged at a distance and substantially parallel relative to each other.

For increased visibility of the stone contributes that the securing element is formed from at least two bracket segments, which overhang the stone in each case in edge regions.

A further increased diversity of the generated optical reflection is achieved in that at least two stones are movably supported by one recess.

For example, it is also thought that the stone is formed as a gemstone. In principle, however, applications in connection with costume jewelery can also be realized.

A very large variety of colors in the optical reflection is achieved in that the stone is designed as a ground diamond.

According to the embodiment in Fig. 1, the jewel (1) is realized in the form of a ring having a base body (2) and a stone (3) holds. The main body (2) is provided with a recess (4) into which the stone (3) is inserted. In particular, it is envisaged, the recess (4) rounded in an outer contour (5) of the piece of jewelry (1) to pass. Above the recess (4) a securing element (6) is arranged, which is bow-like according to the embodiment in Fig. 1 and has a distance from the stone (3).

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the stone (3) has a substantially conically tapered body extending from an inner circular base (7). The base (7) is arranged facing the securing element (6). Over the base surface (7) extends in the field of view provided with a plurality of grinding surfaces facet curvature (9) of the stone (3). An end region of the tapering of the stone (3) arranged away from the base surface (7) is mounted in a depression (8) of the depression (4). The coverage area between the taper of the stone (3) and the sink (8) is chosen so large that even when a bearing of the base (7) on the securing element (6) lateral guidance of the stone (3) is ensured. As a result, a loss of the stone (3) is prevented.

From the illustration in Fig. 2 it can be seen that the tapering region of the stone (3) is substantially tapered. The securing element (6) may be formed as a semicircular bracket, which is soldered after being joined to the base body (2). But there are also other mounting options feasible. In particular, laser welding, riveting, gluing or form-fitting joining can be realized as further joining methods.

From the plan view in Fig. 3 it can be seen that the bow-like securing element (6) extends relative to a width of the base body (2) in a substantially central region. In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, two bow-shaped securing elements (6) are provided which extend along edges of the base body (2) and essentially parallel relative to one another.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, two securing elements (6) are used, which are arranged similar to the securing element (6) according to FIG. 3, but do not completely span the stone (3) but overhang only in the edge area. This supports improved visibility of the brick (3). The securing elements (6) according to FIG. 5 can be realized as edge segments of the securing element (6) according to FIG. 3.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, three stones (3) are respectively held in associated recesses (4). As a rule, each stone (3) is positioned differently with respect to acting forces relative to the main body (2), by an arrangement of a plurality of movable stones (3), a further improved optical effect is achieved. According to Fig. 6, the stones (3) are arranged in a row one behind the other. But there are also other arrangements feasible.

The design shown in the embodiments with a conically tapered stone (3) and also in the form of an inwardly drawn cone shaped sink (8) allows a plurality of different directions of movement of the stone (3). The stone (3) can be moved in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the cone to a stop against the securing element (6). In addition, the stone (3) can be tilted transversely to the longitudinal axis of the cone in any radial direction, finally, a rotation about the longitudinal axis of the cone is possible. There is thus a multiplicity of free motion parame- ters which cause a multiplicity of different light reflections in the case of a faceted stone (3).
