  The present invention relates to the field of bags for collecting and storing blood or

of blood components.

  Traceability of blood bags is important to avoid medical errors. To this end, various solutions for marking blood bags have been proposed in the prior art. We have for example proposed to use a

  marking using a bar code affixed to the pocket.

This solution is not totally

satisfactory for two reasons.

  The first is that the management of these codes requires the operation of an external database allowing the code assigned to the pocket to be linked to

  useful information for operating the pocket.

  The second reason is that this solution is not free from the risk of tearing up or altering the

  marking, in particular by malicious intent.

  The third reason is that current solutions are not tamper-proof, it is very easy to overload a label with a second self-adhesive label. The device according to the invention is inviolable because it is entirely enclosed and contained in the pocket. The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a secure marking allowing

  improved management of pocket traceability.

  To this end, the invention relates in its most general sense to a bag, characterized in that it incorporates a read / write radio frequency label surrounded by a bicompatible material closed in a sealed manner to form an element whose dimensions are greater at the holes in the pocket, and in that the pocket is definitively sealed after incorporation of

said label.

  This solution is preferable to the solution consisting in sealing the radio-frequency read / write label on the internal face of the blood bag. Indeed if the radio frequency component is sealed on the internal face of the blood bag, there is a risk of violation by opening the bag at this location

and replacing the label.

  This solution is also preferable to current solutions which can be diverted by superimposing a second label to hide a

first label.

  Advantageously, the read / write radio-frequency label is placed in a sealed tube formed by folding and peripheral sealing of a sheet of a

  material identical to the material constituting the pocket.

  According to a preferred variant, the element containing the read / write radio frequency label has a density lower than the density of the liquids intended to be contained in the bag. The radio frequency element is

for example filled with air.

  According to a preferred embodiment, the label comprises a first non-modifiable memory zone containing an identifier of the label, and memory zones each modifiable by a category

user only.

  Preferably the range is between a few centimeters and a few tens of centimeters, for example about 20 centimeters. Such a range allows contactless remote detection, while avoiding the disturbance caused by a used pocket

for another patient.

  This solution also makes it possible to automate the reading of the label for marking the blood bag. There is no need for a voluntary act on the part of the operator,

there is no risk of forgetting.

  The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a bag intended for collecting and storing blood or blood components, characterized in that an element formed by a radio frequency label incorporated in a sealed bag is prepared, in that we close a plastic sheet around this element, and that we proceed to the waterproof sealing of

  this sheet to form a pocket.

  The radio frequency label is formed by a

  component comprising a memory and a transmission module

  reception connected to an antenna and a supply coil. This component can be encapsulated, or be incorporated into a tube formed by a sheet of plastic material folded to surround the component. This sheet is sealed on its edge to form a waterproof pocket of a size slightly larger than the component. It can be slightly swollen with air to float on the surface of the liquid contained in the pocket, and avoid plugging

  accidental outlets for the contents of the bag.

  This third zone can also be protected in reading by another reading code to preserve the confidentiality of the information it contains. A fourth memory area can contain information relating to the recipient of the blood. This zone

  can also be protected in read and / or write.

  The blood bag can be hung on a bracket equipped with a control device allowing the reading of identification information of the contents of the bag. This device can be used to check the compatibility between the contents of the bag and the status of the

recipient.
