Abstract

A spittoon with detachable insert that may prevent the user from viewing the contents, is new. The spittoon consists of a container (1) with a detachable insert (2) in a truncated conical shape, open at the top and bottom and attached to the rim of the container. The connection between the insert and container can be in the form of fastenings, threaded surfaces or hinges. In variants of the design the container and insert can be square, polygonal or elliptical in section.
