Abstract

The sheets of wrapping paper are identical and generally rectangular. They are folded parallel to one edge and arranged one next to the other inside the box (1) which has dimensions corresponding to those of the sheets. The box is formed from a cardboard blank piece by cutting, folding and adhering and is generally shaped as a parallelepiped. The box has a base (7) on which the folded edge of the sheets rest. An upper edge of the box forms a cover (8), and the box has four lateral faces which are perpendicular to the base. Two of these (9,9') are side faces and two are main faces. One of the main faces (10) has a trapezoidal opening (14) which allows the sheets to be removed one by one as they slide over each other.

Description

 The present invention relates to a dispenser for sheet products, in particular sheets of wrapping paper and, in particular, sheets of coated food paper or any other product.

 Distributors of bulk food products (meat, fruit and vegetables, dairy, cold meats, fishmongers, etc.) wish to have practical packaging allowing them to quickly pack the products sold in satisfactory conditions both from the point of view of tightness, only hygiene.

 For this purpose, it has already been proposed paper strips or packaging films conditioned on rolls which must be unwound and cut to the desired length during use.

 Such rollers only have a relatively short length of product and therefore weigh only a few hundred grams; as a result, they give satisfaction when they are intended for domestic use but have numerous drawbacks in the event of significant consumption, for example in food stores, when it is necessary to unwind large lengths of paper daily, the strips of paper or packaging film are then supplied in considerable length on rollers weighing on the order of 10 to 20 kilograms, the handling of which is therefore particularly inconvenient.

 Taking into account that in the same store, the dimensions of the packaging to be used are essentially identical, it would be desirable for the merchant to be able to have stacks of sheets of packaging paper precut to the desired dimensions and which can be entered one by one in case if necessary, avoiding any additional handling (unwinding rolls, cutting, etc.).

 It is clear that stacks which can comprise several thousand sheets superimposed on each other cannot be simply placed on a counter without risking being quickly destabilized and overturned, in particular in the case of sheets of coated food paper which have a strong tendency to slide on top of each other.

 Nor is it conceivable to simply accommodate the stacks of sheets in a box body of corresponding shape and dimensions, since it is then no longer possible to slide the sheets one over the other to enter them one by one, which makes handling them problematic, especially in the case of the last sheets of a stack.

 In view of the above, it is therefore desirable to be able to have a dispenser for sheet products, in particular sheets of wrapping paper and, in particular, sheets of coated food paper, guaranteeing that the sheets are securely held in place by allowing them to be easily grabbed one by one by sliding them one on top of the other.

 Several distributors have already been proposed in order to meet these imperatives, but none has so far met the expected reception with potential users. In addition, these distributors have all been shown to be unsatisfactory at the manufacturing level.

 The object of the present invention is therefore to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a dispenser for sheet products of the aforementioned type which can be produced and fed with sheets by a fully automatic process and in which the sheets are presented so as to allow the user to enter them manually in a particularly easy way.

To this end, the invention relates to a dispenser characterized in that it is constituted, on the one hand, by a set of identical sheets, essentially rectangular, arranged side by side and each comprising a part folded parallel to the one of its edges and, on the other hand, by a part in the shape of a box body essentially parallelepipedic of dimensions corresponding to those of the sheets, obtained from a blank in particular made of cardboard by cutting, folding and collage and comprising

 According to another characteristic of the invention, the large base of the gripping opening is contiguous with the upper face of the box body.

 Such a distributor which can contain a large reserve, which can go up to several hundred sheets, can be personalized with the sign of the point of sale or even present promotional or other advertising information.

 I1 has the advantage of being able to be installed in a flexible manner, according to the needs of the moment, without it being necessary to modify the fixed installation of the place of use; it can, for example, simply rest at the edge of the counter by its bottom and act as a support for the cash register plate used to receive the change.

 It is however particularly advantageous, in accordance with the invention, to be able to suspend the box body from a vertical wall.

 For this purpose, the main lateral face opposite to the gripping face or attachment face of the box body is provided with attachment means.

 These attachment means can advantageously consist of a tongue cut out at the upper face of the box body and folded back against the attachment face of the latter.

 According to the invention, such a tongue is provided with two attachment holes coinciding with similar orifices cut on the attachment face and intended to cooperate with hooks fixed for this purpose on a vertical wall.

 The double thickness thus created following the folding of the tongue against the attachment face constitutes an essential characteristic of the invention; in fact, the resulting increase in rigidity may prove to be essential taking into account the fact that the total weight of the dispenser may be of the order of 5 kg.

 The particular folding of the sheets also corresponds to an essential characteristic of the invention: in fact, the space created between each sheet thanks to the folding makes it possible to avoid any untimely sticking of the sheets against each other, and therefore to guarantee the distribution of these one by one.

 As already indicated, another essential characteristic of the invention is linked to the fact that the box body can be produced from an essentially rectangular blank by cutting, folding and gluing operations.

 Such a blank can of course be made of any material but is most often made of cardboard.

 This characteristic makes it possible to obtain the distributor by implementing a series of particularly simple operations, easy to automate and this for a very attractive cost price likely to encourage many traders to obtain the distributor.

 The dimensions of the latter must, of course, be adapted to those of the sheets which it contains and may, therefore, vary to a large extent depending on the use for which it is intended.

 According to the invention, the rectangular panel corresponding to the internal part of the gripping face or internal rectangular panel is preferably substantially smaller than the rectangular panel corresponding to the external part of this face or external rectangular panel.

 According to another characteristic of the invention, the external rectangular panel is provided, at its central part, with a trapezoidal pre-cut line corresponding to the gripping opening. This line, the two bases of which are essentially parallel to the main fold lines, cooperates at its small base with a hole preferably in the form of an arc of a circle; this drilling makes it possible to clear the gripping opening by evacuating the part delimited by the pre-cut line following a traction exerted at this level by the user.

 It should be noted that the internal rectangular panel is preferably provided, at its end, with a recess at the level of the precut line.

 It is clear that the mounting of the dispenser in accordance with the invention can be carried out in an extremely simple manner by placing the set of sheets in a pile on the attachment face held horizontally on a support and folding back on itself. the rectangular blank at the cutting and folding lines and the main folding lines before carrying out the bonding operation making it possible to keep the assembly thus formed.

 According to another characteristic of the invention, the trapezoidal precut line cooperates with two annexed precut lines extending on either side of the large base, perpendicular to it, and extending on the panel corresponding to the upper face of the box body. These lines, which define the hooking tab, cooperate with a hole preferably in the form of an arc of a circle provided at the level of the large base of the trapezoidal pre-cut line, in the middle part of this line.

 This drilling allows the user to release the hooking tab by exerting traction at this level.

 According to another characteristic of the invention, the panel corresponding to the upper face of the box body is equipped, between the annexed precut lines, with two hooking orifices which coincide with similar orifices provided at the level of the panel corresponding to the hooking face of the box body after folding the hooking tab around the associated main fold line.

 It should be noted that when the dispenser is intended to be simply placed on a counter, the hooking tab has no utility and it is therefore therefore unnecessary to cut the annexed precut lines.

The characteristics of the dispenser, which is the subject of the invention, will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings in which - Figure 1 is a perspective view of the box body, - Figure 2 shows a sheet such that she is re
folded after its installation in the box body, - Figure 3 shows a blank for obtaining the
box body.

 It should be noted that in FIG. 3, the cutouts are shown in solid lines while the fold lines are shown in dotted lines and the precut lines in dashed lines.

 The dispenser according to the invention is schematically constituted by a part in the shape of an essentially parallelepiped box body 1 shown in FIG. 1, receiving, at its internal part, a set of identical essentially rectangular sheets 2 arranged side by side and comprising, each, a part 3 folded along a fold line 4, parallel to one of its edges 5.

 According to FIG. 2, the folded part 3 extends over approximately two thirds of the sheet, leaving free, at its upper part, an unfolded part 6 allowing a user to manually grab the sheets one by one by sliding them on top of each other.

 According to FIG. 1, the box body 1 comprises a bottom 7 forming a support for receiving the sheets 2 resting on their edge at their folded edge 4, an upper face 8 forming a cover as well as four lateral faces essentially perpendicular to the bottom 7 and making it possible to maintain the set of sheets 2.

 These lateral faces comprise, on the one hand, two annex lateral faces 9, 9 'of small width and, on the other hand, a gripping face 10 as well as a hooking face 11 opposite to each other and having dimensions corresponding to those of the folded sheets 2.

 The gripping face 10 is provided with a trapezoidal gripping opening 14, the large base 12 of which is contiguous with the upper face 8 of the box body 1.

 As will be described in more detail in the remainder of this description, the gripping opening 11 is released during use following the evacuation of a precut part 13 shown in hatched form in FIG. 1.

 A hole 15 in the form of an arc of a circle, provided in the middle part of the small base 16 of the trapezoidal part 13, allows the user to exert the traction necessary for this evacuation.

 According to Figure 1, the box body 1 further comprises a latching tongue 17 cut at the upper face 8 and the upper part of the gripping face 10 located above the gripping opening 14, in the extension of the large base 12.

 This tongue 17 is also released at the time of use under the action of a traction exerted by the user at the level of a bore in the form of an arc of a circle 18 provided in the middle part of the large base 12 of part 13; this tongue 17 is, in fact and not shown in Figure 1, folded back against the attachment face 11 to the rear part thereof.

 The tongue 17 is, moreover, provided with two attachment holes 19, 19 'coinciding, after folding thereof, with holes 20, 20' of the attachment face 11 so as to allow the dispenser to be suspended hooks not shown attached to a vertical wall.

 According to Figure 3, the box body shown in Figure 1 is obtained from a cardboard blank 21 essentially rectangular by cutting, folding and gluing operations.

 More specifically, the blank 21 has two essentially parallel longitudinal cutting and folding lines 22, 22 '. These lines 22, 22 'define, between them, a succession of rectangular panels, all delimited by main fold lines 23 which are perpendicular to the cut and fold lines 22, 22'.

 The panels thus delimited break down into a median panel 11 corresponding to the hooking face of the box body, bordered on either side by panels 7, 8 corresponding respectively to the bottom and to the upper face thereof, then at the two ends of the blank 21 by two panels, namely an internal rectangular panel 101 and an external rectangular panel 102, the superimposition and assembly by gluing make it possible to define the gripping face 10 of the box body, after folding the blank 21 around the main fold lines 23 so that the panels 102, 8, 11, 7 and 101 are all perpendicular to the neighboring panel.

 It should be noted that before performing this mounting of the blank, it is necessary to set up the set of sheets 2 according to a stack so that it rests on the attachment face 11.

 According to FIG. 3, the external panel 102 has a surface which is substantially larger than that of the internal panel 101 and is provided at its central part with a trapezoidal pre-cut line 24, the small base 16 and the large base 12 of which are parallel to the main fold lines 23.

 This pre-cut line 24 defines, at its internal part, the part 13 making it possible to release the gripping opening after assembly of the box body. The hole in the shape of an arc of a circle 15 allows the user to carry out this operation.

 It should be noted that the internal face 101 is provided, at its end, with a recess 26 located at the level of the small base 15 of the cutting and folding line 24 so as to allow the user to grasp the part 13 at the level of the bore 15 and to clear the gripping opening during use.

 As shown in FIG. 3, the precut line 24 is extended on either side of the large base 12 and perpendicular thereto by two annexed precut lines 25, 25 'which extend over the entire panel 8 corresponding to the upper face of the box body, up to the main fold line 23 separating the latter from the panel corresponding to the attachment face 11; these precut lines 25, 25 ′ define, at their internal part, the attachment tab 17.

 The hole in the form of an arc of a circle 18 allows the user to release this tongue after assembly of the box body.

 The blank 21 is, moreover, provided with attachment holes 19, 19 ′ on the one hand and 20, 20 ′ on the other hand, which allow, after assembly, to suspend the box body from a hook ensuring that the distributor has sufficient rigidity despite the weight of the sheet assembly.

 According to FIG. 3, the cutting and folding lines 22, 22 ′ furthermore delimit externally and on either side of the panels 11, 7, 8, 101, 102 of the plates 27 independent of each other, respectively located in the extension of the panels 11, 7, 8, 101, 102 and capable of being folded against one another in a manner known per se during the mounting of the box body so as to define the lateral faces 9, 9 ' of it.

 Holes 28, 28 'in the form of a wedge make it easier to assemble the box body.
