Abstract

The cherry picker comprises a rigid plastics tube (1) with an angled end piece sectioned at 45<o> (2). A stirrup (3) is fixed on the end piece in two diametrically opposite points (4) without clamping. A hole (5) in each end of the stirrup enables attaching the end of a string (6). The middle of the string is connected to a cord (8) which is pulled to operate the stirrup. A return spring (10) is fastened a hole (9) in the stirrup centre, the other end (11) being fixed to the end piece. A removable plug (12) enables easy collection of the fruit.
