Abstract

The pivoting roadway (2) forming an access or unloading ramp has an automatic gravity locking system in its raised or top position. This locking system comprises rings (7) integral with the roadway edge (2a) and pivoted (3) on a part (4). The rings can engage a hook (9) integral with the part (4) and connected by a bar (8) forming a counterweight. The rings are mounted with a free clearance in gussets (10) integral with the roadway edge. The roadway edge is pivoted on braces (11) fixed to the part carrying the hooks.
