Abstract

The unit is for sealing and preventing the unscrewing of a piston (1) screwed onto a rod (3) of a hydraulic jack. It consists of a ring (2) threaded onto the end (31) of the rod (3) which is compressed by the piston (1), screwed onto the end (31) of the rod, against the shoulder (33) of the rod (3). This causes a deformation of the ring (2) and its penetration between the shoulders of the thread (32). This has an effect in one part of preventing the passage of the fluid between the chambers (A and B), and in the other part, due to the radial load engendered between the shoulders of the thread (32) and the cut-out (11) of the piston, of strongly preventing the latter of any ill-timed release.

élastique, sa résistance à l'usure et sa ténacité. Elle est enfilée sur l'extrémité (31) de la
tige (3). Le piston (1) est ensuite lui-même vissé sur les filets (32) de l'extrémité (31) de
la tige (3).

Dispositif pour étancher et freiner au desserrage le piston (1) vissé sur la tige (3) d'un vérin hydraulique caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une bague (2) enfilée sur l'extrémité (31) de la tige (3) et comprimée par le piston (1), vissé sur l'extrémité (31) de la tige (3), contre l'épaulement (33) de la tige (3) entraînant la déformation de la dite bague (2) et sa pénétration entre les flancs du filet (32) du filetage, ceci ayant pour effet, d'une part, d'empêcher tout passage de fluide entre les chambres (A et B) et d'autre part, grâce aux charges radiales provoquées entre les flancs du filet (32) et l'alésage (11) du piston (l) de freiner fortement ce dernier contre tout déblocage intempestif. 1.
