Abstract

The system enabling the removal of a tensioned marquee comprises a central circular fixed rail (1) and a second concentric fixed peripheral rail (2). The second rail has a greater radius than the other rail. The marquee cloth roof (3) is tensioned between the two rails. The roof is held by wheeled carriages inserted in the rails. The carriages are held apart by a rigid edges (5) fixed to the roof. The tensioning system enables the removal of very large tensioned marquee roofs.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device for a removable stretched marquee.

 Removable roofs on rigid structures are heavy constructions and have spans limited by the resistance of the supporting structures. The stretched canvases or capitals are lighter and have greater spans but the existing movements of translation with folding or rolling up of the canvas only allow installations of modest dimensions. Furthermore, no gyratory movement is currently proposed in the field of removable stretched marquees.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible to remove textile roofs stretched in a gyratory movement, this up to large dimensions.

 The device consists of a fixed circular central rail and, at a distance determined as appropriate, of a second fixed circular peripheral rail. A canvas having the shape of a disc sector is stretched between the central rail and the peripheral rail and can circulate in gyration between these rails by means of trolleys inserted on the rails. The carriages are fixed to the canvas and kept apart from each other by a rigid canvas border.

 By using several superimposed central and peripheral rails, several fabrics can circulate by overlapping.

 The central and peripheral rails can take helical, wavy or curved shapes, keeping the same radius of distance between them, in order to obtain stretched fabrics of various shapes.

 The central and peripheral rails can be arranged on a plane different from the horizontal plane, in order to give an inclination to the fabric.

 The device allows the canvas to rotate over 3600 or less, depending on the case to be made.

 With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a first circular central fixed rail (1) and a second circular fixed peripheral rail (2) with the same center as the rail (1) but with a larger radius, defined according to the dimension of the device to achieve.

 A canvas (3) in the shape of a disc sector is stretched between the rail (1) and the rail (2) and can circulate in gyration, as indicated by the arrow, thanks to trolleys with rollers (4) fixed to the canvas (3) and inserted in the rails (1) and (2). The carriages (4) are kept apart from one another by a plate and counter-plate (5) made of rigid material.

 The operation of the device will be manual or motorized, depending on the size of the device produced.

 The dimensions of the device can be from a few meters to several tens of meters.

 The device according to the invention is intended for the removable cover of swimming pools, leisure parks, exhibition grounds, sports grounds, supermarket parking, agricultural and industrial storage areas, greenhouses, shipyards, aircraft hangars.

 1) - Device for a removable tensioned marquee characterized in that it comprises on the one hand a first fixed central circular rail (1) and a second fixed peripheral circular rail (2) with the same center as the rail (1) but of radius more important and on the other hand a fabric (3) in the form of a disc sector stretched between the rail (1) and the rail (2). The canvas (3) is held by roller carriages (4) inserted in the rail (1) and the rail (2). The carriages (4) are fixed to the fabric (3) and kept apart from one another by a rigid border (5).
