Abstract

A series of tubular arches pivot in a fantail on a tipping system mounted on a fixed arch (6) one each side, at the rear and on the ground. The pivoting system comprises a series of individual axes located one behind the other with each piece as narrow as possible. The arch assembly is raised by a handle, and the opening allows easy passage of an automobile. The system may be mounted on a trailer to obtain a folding caravan cover, deployable in seconds. The super structure comprising the arches and the roof can be dismounted rapidly freeing the trailer for other uses. USE - There are multiple uses, temporary covering of vehicles, gardens, swimming pools etc.

Description

The present invention relates to a deplorable fan-shaped tarpaulin shelter which can optionally quickly cover a car by simply tilting the device. Depending on the version, it can thus be used at a fixed post, but also be mounted on a small road trailer for leisure or work (mobile stand for fairground)
In the countryside, a permanent shelter, whether prefabricated or metallic, requires a permit called a building permit. The covered shelter resulting from the invention will make it possible to avoid this drawback while being incorporated as well as possible into the landscape. Its interest is both ecological and economical.

 The main use of this shelter will therefore be that of a plastic covered country garage with very easy opening because it is articulated in the center being balanced. The frame is made up of judiciously arranged metal tubular arches, it spreads out like a fan over 180 "as does the cover of a baby carriage pram.

 But the uses of the invention are multiple: greenhouse with transparent plastic, garden shed, cover for small swimming pool etc ..., and that a mobile version on a road trailer will make it possible to obtain a rolling shelter.

It will then be used for leisure, construction sites (temporary camping), or as a mobile stand for fairgrounds. Foldable in a few seconds, the hoops with the cotton canvas or waterproof dralon will fit in the trailer which will remain available for other uses after rapid removal of the super structure.  The invention will be better understood from the accompanying drawings which schematically represent some examples of embodiment or use.

Figure 1 shows the partially open covered shelter to easily allow the passage of a car or a person.

Figure 2 shows the closed shelter therefore fully deployed.

Figure 3 shows the same shelter almost completely folded (only one sector remaining open). This drawing represents the mechanism of baculation of the arches.

Figure 6 shows the completely folded shelter inside the trailer for transport. Note that the removable super structure is fixed by 4 bolts.

 With reference to these drawings, it will be noted that by tilting ltensem ble of the covered shelter (fig. 1) the sector between the tubes 5 and 6 (fig. 2) is completely closed and that the flying buttress 8 making them integral the arches 1 and 2 the effort required is practically zero to tilt the shelter in one direction or the other to facilitate the passage of an automobile. The operation is facilitated by a handle.

 The spacing between each hoop is ensured by a cable (lo) which by means of 2 small cable clamps keeps each tube in good position in the longitudinal alpe of the shelter. This arrangement is important to facilitate assembly of the assembly in kit form.

 The tilting system 7 (1 on each side in the center of the shelter) ensures good rotation of the assembly while not taking up space on the sides, the articulation axes being located one behind the other.

Only the roll bar 6 after which the 2 rockers are proud, remains stationary on the ground.

 In the version on a road trailer allowing you to obtain a folding caravan, you will notice that the principle remains the same (page 2) and that the fully deployed shelter makes it possible to double the surface of the trailer. The awning position (fig. 5) will be appreciated in leisure or also work (fairgrounds, demonstrators etc ...).

 In the leisure version, the trailer will be used to transport the camping equipment (11), two people will be able to sleep side by side.

The hood will preferably be made of cotton canvas or dralon for thermal reasons. (The drawings on page 2 only show the metal structure for a better understanding.)
We can provide an entry with zipper or Velcro at one end.

Claims (6)

1- Device relating to a multi-purpose covered shelter characterized in that the support hoops pivot in a fan on a tilting device (7) mounted on the fixed hoop (6) located at the rear on the ground. 2- Device according to claimlcaractérisé in that there is an identical pivoting rocker on each side in the center of the shelter. 3- Device according to claims 1 and 2 characterized in that said pivoting system comprises a series of individual axes located one behind the other so that each part is as narrow as possible. 4- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hoop tubes 1 and 2 are made integral by the two-sided flying arches (8) to facilitate the tilting of the assembly from the handle (9) . The open opening easily allowing the passage of an automobile (fig. 1) 5- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the versions used at a fixed station can be assembled as a kit to facilitate transport. 6- Device according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that this device can be mounted on a road trailer designed for this purpose to obtain a folding caravan covered and deployable entirely in a few seconds. The super structure made up of poles and canvas can be quickly dismantled, freeing the trailer (11) for other uses. (Fig. 4 to 6). 7- Device according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that a cable fixed ~ in the longitudinal axis at the center of the arches maintains the spacing between each tube (10) the position being determined at the start to facilitate mounting in kit.
