Abstract

The device comprises a set of test elements, which replicate each element of a prosthesis. A metacarpal rod (1) fits in the first metacarpal, and a spherical head (2) co-operates with a complementary socket (3) in the trapezius. Each of the test inserts has visual indicators and positioning guides which do not allow permanent connection of the elements of the prosthesis. Each of the inserts has temporary couplings with the implements for positioning them. The test rod can have vertical recesses (1c), at the level of its upper face, which are offset angularly with respect to indexing holes in the rod of the actual prosthesis. The test head can have a finger (2b1), which engages with one of the rod recesses, and a centring bearing (2c), which corresponds with an internal bearing in the test rod. The centring bearing extends coaxially along a guide pin (2d), which co-operates with a bore formed coaxially to the internal bearing.

Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un dispositif pour la
mise en place d'une prothèse trapézo métacarpienne du type de celle
décrite dans la demande de brevet FR 2720628.
