Abstract

The windscreen wiper, pivoted to the free end of a wiper arm, is equipped with a spray bar (20) which extends along one side and is fed by a tube (24) so it can spray a washing liquid onto the screen. The spray bar has a recess (40) in its side facing the wiper, containing a nipple (42) for the feed tube (24). The recess is situated at the top of the spray bar's side face and has an outlet (48) in the bar's upper surface (44), while the nipple (42) extends in a lengthwise direction. The side of the spray bar which faces away from the wiper is in the shape of an aerodynamic deflector.
