Abstract

Description

 The present invention relates to a display support for sale, in particular for footwear. This support is in particular usable for the sale of slippers or slippers in big box stores.

 The sale of footwear in big box stores means allowing the consumer to view the different items presented, and to try these items before purchasing.

 To this end, it is known from French Patent No. 2,480,249 to arrange two housings on a flat support, to place a pair of footwear in these housings and to suspend the support from a display stand.

 However, no fasteners are provided for fixing the articles to the support, which makes the latter hardly usable in a big box store.

 The housings obstruct or prevent the trying on of the articles before purchase and do not allow a good visualization of the articles during this trying.

 A deterioration of this support during repeated handling is to be feared.

 In addition, this support appears relatively complex and expensive to manufacture.

 I1 also exist other supports for presenting footwear for sale in department stores. However, these supports have the drawbacks of involving several folding, assembly or gluing operations for their manufacture, and of involving several operations for assembling the articles thereon.

 The present invention aims to remedy these various drawbacks by providing a presentation support which allows the consumer to choose and try the articles, which is inexpensive to manufacture and which allows the articles to be assembled by automated, simple and rapid operations. to achieve.

 According to the invention, the support is formed by a rigid or semi-rigid plate comprising a tab in its median part, projecting substantially perpendicular to this plate, the two footwear being intended to be positioned against the plate, on both sides and d 'other of the tab, and the uppers of these footwear being intended to be assembled to the tab by a single fastening means passing through these uppers and this tab.

 The support according to the invention does not in any way mask the articles, and thus allows perfect viewing of these articles by the consumer, both at the time of choice and at the time of fitting.

 It has a particularly simple structure and is inexpensive to manufacture.

 In addition, the assembly of the rods of the articles to the tab can be carried out by a single operation, in particular by automated installation of a fastener made of synthetic material. If necessary, the tab may include a hole for the passage of this fastener.

 Advantageously, a suspension means is arranged in the plate to allow the attachment of the support to the rod of a display. It can be a simple hole or a notch delimiting a curved part in the shape of a hook.

 Preferably, the plate is cut from a sheet of material capable of being folded, such as cardboard, and the tab is arranged by making an appropriate cut in this sheet and by folding down the part delimited by this cut in a substantially perpendicular plane. to the plate.

 The support according to the invention is therefore particularly simple to manufacture, by mechanized cutting operations.

 The aforementioned suspension means can also be produced by appropriate cutting of the plate.

 The plate 3, the tab 4, the curved part 6 and the hole 7 are formed by cutting a sheet of cardboard, in particular with a cookie cutter. As shown in FIG. 1, the tab 4 is arranged by making an appropriate "U" cut in this sheet and by folding down the part delimited by this cut in a plane substantially perpendicular to the plate 3.

 After cutting the plate 3 and folding the tab 4, the two slippers 2 are positioned against the plate 3, on either side of the tab 4. Their rods are assembled to the tab 4, crossing the hole 7, by means of a clip 8 made of synthetic material.

 The invention thus provides a presentation support for sale, in particular for footwear, which has many advantages compared to similar existing supports. I1 allows the consumer in particular to choose and try the articles, in a big box store, it is inexpensive to manufacture and it allows the articles to be assembled by automated operations, simple and quick to perform.
