Abstract

The coat-hanger (1) is formed from a sheet of cardboard which is cut to fit the shape of the garment. It is thick enough to make it rigid and strong enough to support the weight of the garment. The two surfaces of the sheet have spaces on which publicity or information can be fixed.A hook (2) made of plastics material is fixed to the upper part of the sheet by a rivet (5) which is put through a hole (4) in its lower end (3). The hook can pivot and can be retracted to be against the sheet.
