Abstract

New composition (I) to cleanse, or remove make-up from, skin and/or mucous membranes and/or eyes comprises a homogeneous poly-holoside (II) and/or a compound (III) containing (II). Also claimed is a method of cleansing or removing make-up from skin and/or mucous membranes and/or eyes comprising the application of (I).

Description

The present invention relates to the use of a polyholoside in a composition, in particular a cosmetic composition, intended for cleaning and / or removing makeup from the skin and / or mucous membranes and / or eyes.

 It is known to use makeup-removing oils in compositions for removing makeup from the skin and / or the eyes. Generally, these compositions also comprise surfactants which make it possible to improve the elimination of said oil and / or traces of makeup. However, it is known that the use of these compositions can leave an impression of discomfort, in particular on the eyelids and / or on the eyes.

 It is also known makeup removal compositions based solely on surfactants, which will allow the removal of traces of makeup while facilitating the emulsification of the composition, making compatible the fatty and aqueous phases of the composition when it present in the form of an emulsion. However, surfactants can have the disadvantage of being more or less irritating to the skin.

The object of the invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the prior art and to propose a composition which allows easy and adequate cleaning and / or make-up removal, which is not irritating to the skin and / or the eyes, and which does not contain a surfactant.

The first object of the invention is therefore a composition for cleaning and / or removing make-up from the skin and / or mucous membranes and / or eyes, comprising a homogeneous polyholoside.

Another subject of the invention is the use of homogeneous polyholoside in a composition for cleansing and / or removing make-up for the skin and / or the mucous membranes and / or the eyes, comprising a cosmetically or dermatologically acceptable support, in particular as cleaning agent and / or make-up remover, and / or in order to obtain a makeup-removing composition with little or no irritation, and / or in order to obtain a composition having a soft feel, and / or in order to obtain a gelled composition.

Another object of the invention is a method for cleaning and / or removing makeup from the skin and / or mucous membranes and / or eyes, characterized in that it is applied to the skin and / or to the mucous membranes and / or on the eyes a composition as defined above.

It has in fact been found that the use of a polyholoside according to the invention makes it possible to obtain an effective cleaning and / or make-up removing composition, non-irritating and slightly tacky, which moreover has a soft and pleasant feel.

In addition, the incorporation of a polyholoside into compositions, in particular cosmetic compositions, makes it possible to obtain a gelled composition without additional addition of gelling agent conventionally used. The gel obtained is smooth and creamy.

The present invention therefore relates to the use of a homogeneous polyholoside as a makeup-removing agent, and / or in a makeup-removing composition.

Saccharides, with the formula Cn (H2O) n, are generally divided into two categories: simple sugars or sugars, and osides or the association of several molecules.

Among the osides, a distinction can be made between holosides which are formed solely of sugars and heterosides which consist of one or more oses and a non-carbohydrate part.

Among the polyholosides, one can also distinguish homogeneous polyholosides which result from the association of the same ose, and heterogeneous polyholosides which result either from the association of different oses, or from the association of oses having the same raw chemical formula but of different geometric configuration (D and L isomers for example).

Thus, the polyholosides according to the invention are homogeneous, therefore consist only of sugars and result from the association of the same ose.

They can however be substituted, in particular by fatty chains or amino groups.

The polyholosides according to the invention can mainly comprise 2 to 10 times the same ose (oligoholosides), or more than 10 times the same ose.

The polyholosides according to the invention can mainly comprise a single daring motif, chosen from all possible daring motifs, of natural or synthetic origin, and in particular such as:

. cellulose and its derivatives, such as cellulose gum, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, polyquaternium 10 and 24;
. Starch, amylose and amylopectin and their derivatives;
chondroid and its derivatives, such as chondroitin and chondroitin sulfate.

The polyholoside according to the invention can be optionally branched or linear. It can also be substituted, for example by fatty chains, in particular comprising 8 to 30 carbon atoms, and / or by amino groups.

In the context of the present invention, it is possible to use a homogeneous polyholoside alone, or a mixture of homogeneous polyholosides.

The polyholosides according to the invention are preferably introduced into the composition in the form of an aqueous solution which can comprise 0.01 to 5% by weight of polyholoside.

The polyholoside can be present in the final composition in an amount of 0.01 to 5% by weight, preferably 0.02 to 1% by weight.

The polyholosides according to the invention can therefore be used as a makeup-removing agent, in particular in a composition for cleansing and / or removing makeup from the skin of the body or face, mucous membranes such as the lips, and / or the eyes. .

Said composition can be in the form of an emulsion, in particular oil-in-water or water-in-oil, or even in the form of a multiple emulsion.

It can also be in the form of an aqueous solution, optionally gelled, or in the form of a lotion, for example two-phase, of a cream, of a milk, or even of a foam.

The composition according to the invention may comprise an oily phase based on animal, vegetable, mineral, silicone, fluorinated and / or synthetic oil.

The oily phase can also include fatty alcohols or fatty acids, as well as surfactants and emulsifiers.

Mention may in particular be made of hydrocarbon oils such as paraffin or petrolatum oil; perhydrosqualene; Arara oil; Sweet almond, calophyllum, palm, castor, avocado, jojoba, olive or germ of cereal oil; alcohols such as oleic alcohol, linoleic or linolenic alcohol,
Isostearic alcohol or octyl dodecanol. Mention may also be made of silicone oils such as PDMS, optionally phenylated such as phenyltrimethicones.

The oily phase may also comprise a cleansing oil such as a fatty acid ester, in particular the esters obtained from a straight or branched chain alcohol having from 1 to 17 carbon atoms and from a fatty acid to straight or branched chain having 3 to 18 carbon atoms.

The composition according to the invention can also comprise, in a known manner, adjuvants commonly used in the field under consideration, such as preservatives, antioxidants, perfumes, fillers such as kaolin or starch, or even hollow microspheres, pigments, UV filters, sequestrants, essential oils, coloring matters, hydrophilic or lipophilic active agents such as moisturizers, in particular glycerin, butylene glycol, anti-inflammatory agents such as allantoin, bisabolol, anti -free radicals such as vitamin E or its derivatives, soothing agents such as blueberry water, iris extract, depigmentants, biological active agents such as urea, amino acids, vitamins and their derivatives, proteins, Salicylic acid and its derivatives, cc-hydroxy acids, Pyrrolidone carboxylic acid and its salts, ceramides.

Of course, a person skilled in the art will take care to choose this or these optional additional compounds, and / or their quantity, in such a way that the advantageous properties of the composition according to the invention are not, or not substantially, altered by the addition considered.

The composition preferably has a pH which respects the skin, generally between 5 and 8, preferably a pH of 5.5 to 7.5.

The composition according to the invention can be packaged in any type of packaging article.

In particular, the cleansing and / or makeup-removing compositions according to the invention can advantageously be packaged in single-dose (or single-dose) packaging, namely a packaging such that its content can be used entirely during a single use .

Such packaging can in particular be obtained according to the state of the art, in particular by extrusion-blowing-molding of a plastic material.

This process therefore allows a container to be blow molded, filled with the composition, then sealed, in a single aseptic and continuous operation.

In a first step, the polymer, in particular in the form of a granule, can be extruded, which also makes it possible to sterilize it. A molding device, in the form of two halves, can be closed over the extruded polymer to form the body of the container. We can then inject inside the molding a gas such as sterile filtered air, which will allow to 'blow' the container according to the shape of the mold. The packaging thus obtained can then be filled with the cleaning composition according to the invention, said composition preferably being previously sterilized. Two aqueous solutions are prepared comprising, one 0.5% by weight of chitosan lactate, the other 0.05% by weight of sodium hyaluronate.

 Test 1: we compare the make-up removing power of these two solutions, with that of water and that of a commercial make-up remover.

The make-up removing power is determined using the so-called "make-up removing robot" technique:

The 8 passages correspond to a perfect make-up removal with the commercial make-up remover, taken as a reference.

It is found that the make-up removing power of the two solutions comprising a polyholoside according to the invention is greater than that of water, and equal or even greater than that of the commercial make-up remover.

 Test2: these results were confirmed by an in vivo test, carried out on 10 people.

The solutions according to the invention are tested in comparison with the commercial make-up remover (control), for at least 3 days.

Three criteria are evaluated: cleansing power, cosmetic character (softness, slippery, ...) and comfort.
