Abstract

The table has two lateral leaves (4) which move longitudinally and vertically between a retracted position under the table top and an extension position. Each leaf is joined to two arms (7,8) which extend under the table top. A transverse flap (15), under the table top, is articulated on the frame (2) of the table by a horizontal axle (16). A coil spring (18) holds the flap against the cross bar (2b) of the frame. The flap is pivoted outwards so that the arms can move outwards and when it closes it raises the arms and the leaf.
