Abstract

A floor sump (D) beside the entry contains three float detectors and a pump (19). If water enters, one detector (A) raises a spring-operated (11) deflector (12), a second (B) releases the barrier gate (13) and a third (C) lights emergency lamps, sounds an alarm and starts the pump (19). The gate casing is first raised hydraulically (14). This allows spring actuators (15) to swing the hinged gate across the entry. The sides and foot of the gate are provided with 2cm thick foam seals mounted on pressure plates. A catch operated when the gate is fully closed releases another actuator connected to a central plate. The rotation of the plate brings pressure to bear, through 5 sets of linkages, on all the edge seals, preventing any seepage.

Système de protection d'un local contre l'intrusion d'un fluide au niveau d'une entrée ménagée dans une paroi dudit local, ledit système comportant un panneau (1) monté pivotant sur ladite paroi entre une première position dans laquelle il forme un angle de 180 avec ladite entrée et une seconde position dans laquelle il obture ladite entrée, caractérisé en ce que le panneau (1) renferme une mousse compressible (4) destinée à être sollicitée vers l'extérieur du panneau (1) par des mécanismes pousseurs (3) intégrés audit panneau, de manière à assurer l'obturation hermétique de ladite entrée. 1.
