Abstract

The panel consists of two outer leaves of the same dimensions, designed to fit inside a doorway or window frame. It also comprises foam seals (9) round its outer edge which are compressed against the inner surfaces of the frame by pushers (3) and a lever mechanism inside the panel. Each of the pushers is moved outwards by guides (4), balance arms (5) and levers (6) connected to a central control plate (7) operated by a handle (8). The gaps between the seals are covered by sliding elements (14) as they are deployed.
