Abstract

The lighting column reinforcement is provided by a frame that is placed round the base of the corroded column, with the frame attaching to the stem of the column and having its foot set in the ground. The frame has an octagonal ring at the top to clamp round the lighting column (7) and a base (2) that fits round the bottom of the column and rests on the surface of the pavement. The base and the top ring are joined by uprights (1) that converge slightly toward the top of the support. The support is made in two halves that are fitted round the lighting column. The base is bolted to the pavement, and the assembly welded together.
