Abstract

The vehicle windscreen wiper comprises a wiper blade pivoted about a transverse axis (A1) at the front longitudinal end (22) of a wiper arm (24). A connector (26) is interposed between the arm and the blade to ensure their pivoted assembly. The blade has two longitudinal webs joined by an upper transverse back having an opening enabling mounting of the connector. The connector longitudinal sides (28) are received between the wiper blade webs. The connector has a cover (38) which can tip between a raised position, allowing assembly of the blade onto the arm, and a folded down position in which it covers the opening in the blade upper back. The cover has two legs (40) extending longitudinally rearwards which carry at their free ends (42) pivots for the cover.
