Abstract

The display packaging (1) for an article (S) is formed from two plastics shells (2,3). The two shells are pivoted to each other by a moulded hinge. Each shell has a bottom fixed to side walls. The external face of the bottom of the first shell has a double sided adhesive (15) for fastening to a wall (M). Each shell has, near the hinge, complementary hooks (20,21) and studs (22,23) on the side edges opposite the bottoms near the hinge. These hold the shells at right angles to each other when the first shell is fastened to the wall, the second shell receiving the article. The bottom of the second shell is drilled with several holes (30).

Description

PACKAGING DISPLAY OF AN OBJECT.

Technical area
The invention relates to display packaging for an object; it relates more particularly to a display package formed by two plastic shells, hinged together on a common side forming a hinge.

Prior art
For a long time, such packaging has been known which, thanks to the transparency of the plastic, makes it useful to see the object to be presented. However, the function of these packages ceases when you want to use the object, that is to say when you remove it by opening the two shells around the hinge.

 The invention aims to use the packaging also for the implementation of the object, while allowing the said packaging to be closed after each use.

Brief description of the invention
The display packaging of an object according to the invention, formed by two plastic shells, respectively a first shell and a second shell, hinged together on a common side forming a hinge, in which each shell has a bottom and lateral flanks integral with the bottom, is characterized:
- in that the outer face of the bottom of the first shell has attachment means on a wall;
- And in that each shell has, in the vicinity of the hinge, complementary means intended to keep the second shell square with the first shell when the latter is hung on a wall, while the second shell then receives said object.

Advantageously, in practice:
- The shells are made of transparent plastic, and the common hinge is molded;
- the means of attachment to the wall is a double-sided adhesive, the outer layer of which is protected by a sheet of common use;
- The complementary means consist of hooks and retaining lugs, also from molding, arranged on the edges of the sides opposite the bottom, and in the vicinity of the hinges;
- The bottom of the second shell is pierced with a plurality of discharge orifices.

 In an advantageous embodiment, the object is a soap and the packaging can thus form a soap holder.

 The manner in which the invention can be envisaged and the advantages which ensue therefrom will emerge more clearly from the example of embodiment which follows in its application of the soap dish.

Brief description of the figures
FIG. 1 is a schematic representation, in summary perspective, of a package according to the invention shown in the closed position, while it is shown in the open position in FIG. 2.

 Figure 3 also shows in summary perspective a package according to the invention in the use position.

 The packaging according to the invention designated by the general reference (1) comprises two shells, respectively (2) and (3) of transparent plastic material, each formed by a bottom (4) and (5) and by four lateral flanks (6,7,8,9), slightly inclined outwards with respect to the bottom (4,5). Each shell thus follows the shape of a pyramid trunk.

 The two shells (2,3) are hinged together around a common side (10) forming a hinge coming from molding.

 Alternatively, the two shells (2,3) may also be made of opaque or decorated plastic, or even covered with a label.

 According to a first characteristic of the invention, the outer face of the bottom (4) of the first shell (2) has a double-sided adhesive (15), glued in its center, protected by a sheet (16) commonly used in double-sided adhesive application.

 According to another characteristic of the invention, each shell (2,3) has, in the vicinity of the hinge (10), hooks (20,21) disposed in the vicinity of the edges of the sides (7,8) opposite the bottom (5 ), intended to cooperate with complementary retaining lugs (22, 23), provided for this purpose on the other side still on the edge of the sides (69) opposite the bottom (4) of the first shell (2).

 In the closed position (Figure 1), the hook (21) passes over the lug (23). On the other hand, in the position of use (see FIG. 3), the hooks (20,21) and lugs (22,23) cooperate to hold the second shell (3) square with respect to the first (2) which is fixed to a wall M, for example to the wall of a shower, thanks to the double-sided adhesive (15) stripped of the protective sheet (16).

 The hooks (20,21) and the lugs (22,23) also came from molding.

 According to another characteristic of the invention, the bottom (5) of the second shell (3) is pierced with a plurality of orifices (30).

 In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 3, the object presented is a soap S and thus, the packaging can usefully form soap holders, thereby extending the life of the packaging.

 1 / Display packaging (1) of an object S formed of two plastic shells (2,3), respectively a first shell (2) and a second shell (3), hinged together on a common side forming a hinge ( 10), in which each shell (2,3) has a bottom (4,5) and lateral flanks (6-9) integral with the bottom (4,5), characterized:  - in that the outer face of the bottom (4) of the first shell (2) has hooking means (15) on a wall M;  - And in that each shell (2,3) has, in the vicinity of the hinge (10), complementary means (20,21; 22,23), intended to maintain the second shell (3) at right angles to the first shell (2) when the latter is hung on a wall M, the second shell (3) then receiving said object.  2 / Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the shells (2,3) are made of transparent plastic, and the hinge (10) is molded.  3 / Packaging according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the attachment means (15) is a double-sided adhesive (4).  4 / Packaging according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the complementary means consist of hooks e (20,21) t lugs (22,23) retaining, come from molding, arranged on the edges sidewalls (6,7,8,9) opposite the bottoms (4,5), arranged in the vicinity of the hinge (10).  5 / Packaging according to one of claims 1 and 4, characterized in that the bottom (5) of the second shell (3j is pierced with a plurality of orifices (30) for evacuation.  6 / Packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the object is soap S and in that it forms a soap holder.
