Abstract

Double acting hydraulic actuators (1,6,14) are supplied by a hydraulic distributor controlled by an electro-hydraulic interrupter. The interrupter is located on the cutter advance lever in the cabin (23). These actuators enable the folding and unfolding of the external points (22) of six rows of cutters. One actuator is fixed by a spindle on a guide frame. The sliding end of the actuator is fixed on a guide movable part by a welded metal piece. Another actuator is fixed on a spindle supported by a metal piece welded onto another frame, the sliding end being fixed on the points' locking lever.
