Abstract

The case includes two protective covers (1,2), connected by flexible straps (7a,7b) and protected by covering and overlapping the portable or notebook-type computer. The computer may be fixed in the case by a system of self gripping bands (3,4). The front, left and right faces of the computer may remain free to provide access. A carrying handle (9) may be detachable by a fast fixing system (12a,12b,13a,13b) and a system of elastic holding bands may be sewn on the protective covers. The computer may be used with the case open, without removal and a shoulder strap may assist carrying.

Description

The present invention relates to a permanent protection device for laptop or subnote book.

 There are many protective devices for laptop or subnote book but they all take the form of a briefcase or a padded cover.

These devices are only used to transport the laptop or subnote book from one point to another and therefore to protect it only during transport.

With these devices, the user is therefore obliged to extract and return his laptop or subnote book to his protective case after each use. In this way, such cases or covers do not protect the laptop or subnote book when it is used.

Finally, the use of laptops or subnote books in the field and their increasingly efficient miniaturization make existing case devices quickly bulky and impractical.

The invention aims to remedy such drawbacks by allowing:
- use the laptop or subnote book without removing it from its
protective case,
- permanently protect the laptop or subnote bock,
- improve the comfort of data entry in the field,
- to change the aesthetics and design of laptops or subnote
book.

Indeed, the invention relates to a case which envelops the laptop or subnote book to be protected while keeping the front and rear and right and left sides clear permanently, characterized in that it remains integral with the laptop or subnote book itself, whether it is open or closed, while ensuring optimal protection by an overflow system designed to absorb any shocks that may occur.

The invention will be clearly understood and its advantages and other characteristics will emerge during the following description which provides a preferred embodiment, given by way of example and not limiting, with reference to the appended schematic drawings in which

A preferred example is shown in Figure 1. Two rigid protective covers (1) and (2) are interconnected by flexible straps (7a) and (7b). These two protective covers (1) and (2) are made by superimposing in a layer, in our example, leather (16), 5mm mesh foam (17), ultra rigid cardboard of 20mm (18) and plastic coated fabrics (19) as shown in Figure 5. These different materials glued and sewn in between give exceptional strength and aesthetics to these two protective covers.

The cardboard (18) is used to absorb possible shocks by deforming. The protective covers (1) and (2) are 1cm higher than the dimensions of the laptop or subnote book in order to create the overhang (21) necessary and responsible for absorbing shocks instead of the laptop or subnote book (20) as shown in Figure 2.

In FIG. 1, two gripping tape systems (3) and (4) are self-glued on the inner faces of the protective covers (1) and (2) as well as on the laptop or subnote book to keep the latter secured from the case.

Indeed, these gripping bands have the distinction of being composed of a male part and a female part which "scratches" one on the other and thus become united. The positioning and dimensions of these gripping strips is not limiting and depends on the shape of the laptop or subnote book to be protected.

The straps (7a) and (7b) are flexible enough to allow the opening of the case and the laptop or subnote book to more than 95 ". The carrying handle (9) illustrated in FIG. 6 is connected to the straps (7a) and (7b) by quick couplers (12a / 13a) and (12b / 13b) which make this handle removable for access to the rear connections of the laptop or subnote book (22) shown in Figure 7 This handle remains flexible to allow, too,

The elastic strap (14) illustrated in Figure 3 allows the user to better maintain his laptop or subnote book while entering the field by sliding his hand through this strap. This is sewn onto the protective cover (2). The elastic band (8) sewn on the inside of the protective cover (2) acts as an emergency support system for the laptop or subnote book in the case in case the gripping strips (3) and (4) would come to let go.

An opening (5) shown in Figure 3 without limitation is pierced through the case to access the reset button on the laptop or subnote book.

Its positioning and size are not limiting and depend on the laptop or subnote book itself.

Claims 1 - Case composed of two protective covers (1,2) connected by flexible straps (7a, 7b) characterized in that these covers protect the laptop or subnote book by overlapping and by overflowing (21). 2 - Case according to claim 1, characterized in that the laptop or subnote book is secured to its protective case by a gripping strip system (3,4). 3 - Case according to claim 2, characterized in that the front, left and right sides of the laptop or subnote book remain free to access and characterized in that it comprises a carrying handle (9) made removable by a quick coupling system (12a, 13a; 12b, 13b). 4 - Case according to claim 3, characterized in that it incorporates an elastic retaining band system (14) sewn on the protective cover (2).
