Abstract

Rucksack, making it possible for the hiker (4) to read his rambler's map without stopping and therefore without putting his rucksack (1) down on the ground. The map (7) is located in a case (8) which is attached to the bottom of an upper flat pocket (3) by means of an elastic return device (14, 15). This case (8) has at least one transparent face. The hiker (4) can then, while still walking, pass his arms behind his head, take hold of the case 8 and pull it towards him in order to read the map (7), then make it go back into the bottom of the pocket (3).
