Abstract

The food packaging box has a wall with an opening and a flap (3,6,7) which pivots between closed and open positions. When closed the flap completes the wall and seals the opening and when open enables extraction of the products through the opening. The opening occupies between 25% and 75% of the wall surface. The pivoting flap is made in a single piece with the other constituent parts of the box. The opening occupies all the lower half of the wall surface. The flap pivots about an axis which merges with the line joining the box front wall and the box bottom. When the box is erected one part (35) forms, in a plane orthogonal to the pivoting flap, a partition dividing the internal space of the box into two compartments.
